Description:
Carcel is a creature driven by an independent and practical framework of thought and a firm desire for control and personal freedom. Being highly perceptive to everything around him, Carcel usually works quickly and strives to fully comprehend mechanics both superficial and underlying. With equal efficiency, the young man is manipulative of people and his environment by exploiting weakness for his own personal gain. Whether he exercises this exploitation through charming or completely disarming means depends entirely on the situation, and perhaps most importantly, his mood.
As someone entirely self-oriented, he solely seeks convenient power, pleasure, and satisfaction, whether it’s at the expense of others or not. Leaning into a more hedonistic manner of lifestyle, he prefers instant gratification and indulging in the thrill of indulgent experiences. However, Carcel pursues this without any deep connection to his own emotions or the emotions of those around him. His disconnection generally tends to manifest as a cut and dry lack of empathy which makes him come across as entirely indifferent and apathetic to both the needs and feelings of anyone else. Which is acutely accurate, in fact. Carcel, put nicely, does not give a single shit about anyone - not their thoughts, not their opinions, and most especially not their emotions. It is outside of the realm of possibility for him to adapt to anyone, nor will he make concessions for anyone. There really is no greater cause in life to Carcel outside of himself and instant satisfaction, leaving him with a code of his own that possesses no link to standard morality.
Being so emotionally detached, Carcel remains relatively and entirely unmoved and stoic in the face of both pressure and conflict. Not that he is anyone to shy from or avoid conflict brought to him, as just with his instinct to act on pleasure, he’ll act both impulsively and thoughtfully with aggression. This does not translate to him taking reckless risks, he just simply deals with what is dealt to him in the moment. The only unnerving part of shooting for a reaction beyond indifference with Carcel is sparking his temper. Snaps of frustration and anger are not withheld or restrained in any way out of regard for someone else, which is often deadly, fatal even, for anyone on the receiving end. Being underestimated particularly pisses him off. Well, most people tend to acutely annoy him actually, though that’s either never interpreted or oppositely, communicated gruesomely through actions.
Carcel’s moral compass by most definitions is very skewed. It sits on the foundation of his pragmatic rationale based on his own interests and goals above all else, including traditional ethics. In this way, he is very often perceived as entirely immoral and ruthless in his actions. Not that he cares how he’s to be perceived, though. He’s rather astute in assessing and dissecting the emotional spheres of people around him though this ability does not translate to him being capable of assessing his own emotions. He’s not honest with himself when it comes to more complicated feelings, especially ones that interfere with his self-prioritization and give him the impression that he may be tempted to compromise himself for someone else’s sake. Its a deeply disturbing sensation to him, so much so that he’s willing to be far more cruel in behavior toward any person that manages to disrupt his emotional spectrum. At best, genuine anxiety or hurt he may experience from someone he regards at any capacity higher than anyone else is translated into a curious display of anger and apathy.
Despite his occasional expressions of emotional outbursts, Carcel still remains largely unaffected by the emotional turmoil of others which allows him to continuously act with confident decisiveness without concern for the cost of his actions.
With a face taking the shape of what could be best defined as “triangular”, or at least similar to a triangle, the gent has a noticeably but not unseemly wider forehead. His cheeks are rather high and prominent, while his chin narrows considerably into a fine point. Carcel is both unblemished and entirely unmarked by freckles, spots, and the like across the entire scope of his face. His hooded eyes are decorated with long, wispy onyx colored lashes that hover over captivating hues of blue. Its an electric, intense shade of color that is no less demonstrative of the intensity of his stares and expressions communicated through the vibrant sea of color his eyes possess. Carcel’s nose structure would be defined as aquiline, rather unremarkable aside from the more pointed than average tip of it. Carcel’s lips are thinner both above and below, the soft rose hued color lips often being held in straight lines, but not unacquainted with being held in a variety of smiles - if the mild crows' feet in the corners of his eyes aren’t evidence enough of such a thing.
Raven black hair that is held in a chaotically tamed manner sits atop Carcel’s head. A variety of wispy strands tend to lay over his forehead, though none fall past his eyebrows, nor does the place in which these hairs spill ever remain quite the same. Its cut remains relatively short, most especially in the back, so slicking back the rebel strands in the front make for an effortless display of properly groomed sophistication.
Porcelain ivory. Bright, bold, and pale. If it were any less bold in its pale pigment he would be regarded as sickly. This skin is not without the occasional beauty mark, and most especially not exempt from a variety of scarring - some faded and faint, others more prominent in both size and appearance. The most notable is the scarring on the lower left portion of his abdomen and ribcage, the inconsistent scarring patches on his right shoulder and shoulder blade, a sparse few littered across his back, and a sprinkle across his shins and forearms.
Mesomorphic, broad-shouldered, triangular-shaped frame. Somehow, Carcel manages to look thinner than the muscled body he is when he’s fit with form-covering attire, making him tend to appear less physically capable and built than he actually is. Not that he could be easy to miss in a crowd, however, at his height of a towering 6’4. Scent-wise, Carcel’s is a soft blend of pine and something faint yet acutely metallic.
Abilities:
Siphon
When this ability 'locks' onto someone, Carcel is able to divert the energy put into the manifestation of an ability to himself and, in turn, is able to utilize that specific ability through its diverted energy. While that raw energy is something that is transferred to him, the original user's skill level of the ability is not.
Siphoning also works in locking onto an individual's energy that is unrelated to abilities i.e. he could severely drain and cripple an average person by siphoning their energy.
Regardless of an abilities energy or just energy produced by the human body that he siphons, Carcel needs to use all or most of it within a few hours of storage or risk the energy build-up harming him from the inside out.
Power Boosting
Carcel can not only boost his own abilities but can boost an individual's and/or people within a small area through a 'boost field'. While the advantages of getting an ability boosted to a degree of more raw and unfiltered power are great, there are also several drawbacks. Untrained, anyone using a boosted ability can risk a loss of control over that ability(ies). While Carcel is more conditioned to filter a high percentage of raw energy, even he risks dangerous implications should he prolong the use of a boosted ability or push his own bodily limitations. This boosting can also be used as a more combative tactic than an aid as well, considering Carcel can boost someone's ability so greatly that he can push them into ability overload, leading to diverse effects on the recipient (this applies to him as well if he were to try pushing his own threshold).
Nullifying
Carcel's power of nullification comes in, respectively, three tiers.
1.) At its most basic, this soft level of nullification only moderately weakens the target's abilities - or should he use it on an average person or target someone's bodily functions, the effects would be similar to being on a mild sedative.
2.) A more potent use of his nullification completely shuts down an ability of someone within his line of sight or touch - used outside of abilities, this would render someone unconscious. If he were to boost this ability or use it for an extended period of time against someone, the list of more dire effects grows for the target.
3.) Carcel's nullification can be used as a reflectant - or in other words, it would reflect/rebound an ability being used on him directly back to its user.
*Carcel can only use 2 of his abilities at one time.*
A high build-up of energy or exerting the use of too much boosted (raw) energy can push him into a 'rampage' - loss of control over the energy he releases, and in tur,n tearing himself apart from the inside out

Gender:
Male
Nationality:
Sweedish
Language(s) Spoken:
Fluent Swedish

Fluent English
Appearance:
Loïc is superficially far from presenting himself as an intimidating force, but is dually not a young man who is easily dismissible. With an aloof aura and height of a near even six feet, Loïc has that of a more proportional and rectangular figure to him. His shoulders are perhaps not the broadest, but they square nearly evenly with his hips, which are strictly straight versus narrowing. A man of athletic physique, Loïc does not initially seem the type to be a heavy hitter, but in reality, is quite a powerful entity. This individuals skin tone can overall be considered a neutral beige, albeit with warm undertones. Body aside, Loïc’s face is structured to be typed as triangular, defined by a narrower forehead, well-defined jawline, and subtlety to the appearance of his wider set cheekbones. A light dusting of freckles stretches over the bridge of his nose and resides on the tops of his cheekbones. Loïc would consider them to be ‘minuscule craters of imperfection’, despite most believing they could be marks of subtle beauty.
As for eyes, Loïc’s are a rich hazel that are comprised of a delicate yet chaotic blend of browns, greens, and gold. His hazel kaleidoscopes are framed by darkset lashes that are both long and hold a soft upward curve. Above his eyes are the arched brows that are thinner than average, yet still possess a natural sharpness to them. They are the same shade of caramel brown that his neatly combed, shorter brunet locks are in, with his hair being an evident product of grooming, while his brows are naturally tame.
Personality:
Stiff | Self-Disciplined | Observant | Tactician | Realist | Dry Humor | Judgmental | Narrow-minded | Self-loathing
Superficially Loïc does not come across as inviting or amiable, considering the silence that parallels with his presence. Offering little to no expression, in most situations he does not speak unless necessary or he deems his words important enough to insert. He’s a steadfast stickler for rules, cold in demeanor, and otherwise robotic in mannerisms. His sense of morality is relatively just but easily disregarded by rules that may override acting out of morals. Factual and to the point, Loïc can be regarded as a strictly proper individual with an acute lack of complex social intelligence, or perhaps just a disregard for social etiquette unless required. As precise and matter-of-fact Loïc can be, he is not without possessing his own capabilities of deception or misguided truths if he deems the use of them necessary.
Abilities:
Psionic Blasts
