Amara had been about to have Thunder take off to the sky when she heard someone coming. Looking over she saw Sebastian and Xander. Relief hit her like a wave crashing on a seaside cliff. Sliding off her stallion, she fought the urge to run over and hug him. Seeing the wound she grew worried. "Did you see how many there were" she asked as she got ready to make sure the guards would be ready to stay up all night. Her blue eyes watch him before she sighed. "I might have a few things, but I dont exactly know what's needed. My father never let me help those who were injured" she said as she rushed into the cave and pulled out a rather large bottle. "I can gather water from the stream at least to help" she offered, the worry not leaving her eyes. *If their parents think this was planned by us, this could cause the fighting to continue* she thought as she waited for a reply. Luna came trotting out of the cave and then it clicked with Amara. "Luna can help. Not with much, but she can summon whatever you need to help." She knew it wasnt much, but at least it was something more than just not having enough of what was needed. "When you get into the cave, rest against Luna" she said. "It will be better than laying in the dirt or against a rock." She pet Luna who then walked up to Sebastian and nickered softly before she trotted back into the cave to lay down. "Cobalt might not make it easy to do much since he likes to see what's going on, but he will stay to the side if you tell him to."

Lorelei looked over at Amara when she suggested getting water. She looked between Sebastian and her for a moment before deciding. "Yeah, that would be great." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear before speaking again. "Just take a guard with. I don't need to get a speech about letting you go off on your own later if Sebastian finds out you went yourself." She mumbled before going over to Enzo to see if she packed anything to patch Sebastian up. She knows she probably has something just because who knows what could happen when you are away from home. Besides, he can sometimes be accident-prone, especially when it comes to Xander being with him. This is why he sometimes doesn't always get to be left alone in case something like this were to ever happen to him. And it did, which for her is one of her nightmares come true. She grabbed a bag hanging from the saddlebag just as she heard Amara talking. Sebastian sighed and pushed away from Xander. "Stop making such a bit deal over me. It isn't like I am bleeding to death." He said as he limped slowly in the direction away from Luna. She looked at Xander, seeing he looked at her as well. They seemed to be thinking the same thing since Sebastian can never seem to accept help from others, even his own sister or his best friend. He took a seat in the part where no one is in, which is the very back. He always likes to be by himself, especially if he ends up injured. He ran a hand through his hair, a sigh leaving his lips as his mind reeled with thoughts. He didn't know who could've known that they were going to be passing through there. His only thought was that only a few of Amara's people knew, making him have the idea that she might be the ones who were waiting to attack them if they went through that area. He didn't even pay attention to anything when Lorelei sat down in front of him. She reached out, helping him pull his shirt off over his head so she can work on his shoulder. Multiple scars littered his body, though, there is one that is wrapped around his torso as if someone cut straight through him as it was just perfect but jagged. Actually, he got it when rescuing Lorelei, having her blame herself all the time for having him get hurt every time she sees it. He could see that she is avoiding looking down in that direction, her jaw tense as she worked on cleaning and quickly patching up his shoulder. "I got it." He said softly, referring to his thigh. She nodded her head, not saying another word before getting up and leaving him to do what he needs to do. He slipped his pants down to his knees so he could work on his thigh. His back leaned up against a rock that faced the entrance. It is shielding him in a way, even though he didn't like not knowing if someone is coming up to him. After a few short minutes, he pulled his pants up and leaned his head against the rock. He closed his eyes, lifting his good leg up and resting his bad arm against it. He didn't put his shirt on just to prevent the material from rubbing against it even if it is covered. It will help with swelling since it is going to be elevated. "Amara, we need to talk." He said, not knowing if she is back or not yet. "In private." He added, not wanting any of her soldiers let alone Xander hear in on their conversation.

Amara had agreed to bring one of the guards with her, though she had still remained worried about Sebastian and the others. *At least Luna can warn them if someone else tries to sneak up on them* she thought. Quickly she reached the nearest stream and started to pull water from it with her powers. *There, should be clean* she thought. Standing up and looked around, hearing a twig break, but it was just a doe passing by with her fawn. Giving a sigh, she started heading back to the cave. As she entered in the cave, she saw Sebastian wasnt leaning against Luna like she told him too. *Well, at least he's well enough to be stubbrorn* she thought lightly. She walked the bottle over to Lorelei and handed it to her. "I pulled the water out of the stream with my powers so it should be cleaner than just placing the bottle in the water" she said softly. Her blue eyes looked over where she heard Sebastian's voice and excused herself before she walked over. "Are you alright" she asked as she saw him sitting down. Once she was a couple feet from him she got down on her knees and placed her hands on them before she sighed. "This shouldnt have happened" she said quietly before Sebastian could say anything to her. Her mind whirled as she wondered if he would have his kingdom continue the attacks, or if her father would help sort all this out. Either way, she was currently uncertain, and it made her only grow more nervous for the safety of her people. Amara heard a few of the guards talking near the entrance of the cave, but she couldnt make out what they were saying. All the princess could hope was that they were trying to figure out what all was happening and how anyone could have known about their travels.

One eye popped open when Sebastian heard movement come from beside him. His other eye popped open once she sat down in front of him on her knees, her hands resting on her thighs. He scoffed slightly when she asked if he is alright, causing him to glance away with his brows furrowing together. He hates it when people always ask him if he is alright after he is injured. He likes to always reply with something sarcastic, knowing that they hate it when he does that. As much as he wanted to do it right now to her, he has a feeling that she won't really appreciate it. Then again, he is also holding back in case one of her soldiers are listening in on them instead of giving them privacy as he has asked them. "I'm fine." Is all he said, knowing still that she won't be satisfied with that. Honestly, he doesn't really care. He isn't one to always let on to how he is feeling or anything of the sort. After her next comment, he finally looked at her. His eyes traced over her face, seeing if he can detect something that can tell him that she might be lying to him. Then again, she might have just as a good facade as he does, making him wonder if she is lying under that mask. Even though he can seem both cold-hearted and sweet, he still has issues trusting people, especially when he is from a royal family. Anyone would do anything to try and get on their good side but then end up stabbing you in the back after getting close enough to you where it will only feel like someone is pulling your heart out of your chest. He knows how that feels. He lied about loving someone before. He fell in love with a commoner a few years ago, three to be exact, but that only ended after finding out something that he didn't want to know about. Even to this day, just thinking about her sometimes causes a shot of pain to jolt his heart. He put his leg down, letting his hand rest in his lap. He leaned towards her, getting a closer look at her face to just see if there is a crack in her mask if she is wearing one. "So, you didn't send them out?" He asked with a raised brow, his head tilting to the side. He knows that only Lorelei, Xander, and his parents know about this arrangement and know that it can't be any of them. Then again, there might be some random people from either or both kingdoms to where they followed them and took this as an opportunity to attack him. He then let a sigh out, his cold features melting away and softening instead. He has a feeling that she wouldn't do such a thing and shook his head at that for thinking such a thing. "Just ignore my comment. I may not know you well, but deep down I know you didn't do it." He mumbled as his gaze flickered away from her. After a few moments, he looked back at her and reached out with his good hand. He tucked a stray piece of her hair behind her ear before resting his hand against her cheek. He gave her a soft, small smile. "At least you are safe. That is all that matters to me." He said lowly, not wanting others to be hearing what he is saying.

Amara watched him, feeling almost hurt at first when he asked if she told anyone. When she saw his gaze soften she shook her head. "Nobody from my kingdom knew I was coming back with company. My father told them I would be back in a few days since most like to see me around the castle or the village each day and worry if they dont see me, but there are multople paths I could have taken, and nobody knew exactly where I was headed other than my father and the guards coming with me" she said quietly. "The only way anyone would have known is if they saw us and heard us yesterday talking." She looked down. "I wouldnt even begin to know who that could have been when I wasnt in my formal clothes." Amara felt her cheeks growing warm when he reached out and moved some of her hair out of her face. "I dont know what I would have done had something happened to you, well, worse than this. I know your parents and my father would have been furious had you been killed." She moved closer ever so slightly before she looked at his wound. "Let me see" she said. She slowly placed her hand just below the wound on his shoulder to examine it. After a moment Amara started to feel rather woozy and placed her hand on her forehead. Not realizing what happened, she looked at Sebastian's shoulder, a look of shock on her face. "Sebastian, your shoulder" she said before a wave hit her, causing her to nearly black out. Fighting it, she watched the prince, wondering what had just occured. "D-do you usually heal th-this quick?" Her blue eyes grew heavy as she leaned against the cave wall, before she looked at her hands as they were starting to shake.

Sebastian listened to Amara when she said that nobody knew about what was going on between the two kingdoms except their families. He pursed his lips together, his gears turning in his head. He didn't really hear what else she said after saying no one else knows. He nodded his head here and there though, pretending that he is listening to her. He usually never does this, but when he needs to think about something, he tends to zone out without really thinking about it. If no one knew, then he has a feeling that someone has been keeping a watchful eye on one of them or even both of them. Then again, he always made sure he was careful. Maybe he wasn't careful enough and didn't realize that someone has been watching his every move since the beginning. Then again, when he is out in the market, the streets are busy which makes it hard for him to see who is watching him from afar. He finally snapped out of it towards the end. He looked up at her, trying to find the words to say. He didn't want to scare her off nor did he want her to worry about anything. Then again, he did get shot and he knows anyone would be worried. "My guess is it was someone who has been watching us for ages and trying to find an opportunity to harm either of us." He leaned towards her even more just to make sure no one hears what he is saying next. "I don't want you to trust anyone just because I want to figure things out. The only people I say you can trust is Lorelei, Xander, and I. I would say even your brother, but I don't really know since I haven't met him yet." He said, just wanting to protect her. He doesn't want to trust any parents either, even if they are the ones that raised them. "This includes you not trusting your father. I hate to say that, but I just want to figure this situation out first, alright?" He was surprised when she said that she wouldn't know what to do had something worse had happened to him. He gave her a soft smile, seeming to get closer to her without even knowing he did so. "I can't deny my parents being furious, but I am sure they wouldn't continue on with the war. Well, I hope not as they know that I have been wanting it to stop since the beginning." He said, his thumb starting to slowly brush against her cheek. His hand seemed to drop from her cheek once she decided to check his wound out. He frowned and scowled internally to himself, realizing what he was probably going to do had she not decided to look at his wound. He probably would've kissed her honestly. Damn. He must be losing his mind or something. His brow raised when she put a hand to her forehead. Then he saw the shock on her face, making him wonder what he did now. At hearing her words and asking if she heals quick, his brows furrowed together in confusion. "No..." He drawled out, not sure what she is getting at. He glanced down at his shoulder, his brows instantly shot up at seeing that his wound is almost healed. There is only a dresh scab there, which will clearly scar later. "What the hell?!" He said, his voice raised as he stumbled up to his feet. He glanced around, seeing that everyone is looking at them. He smiles sheepishly at them, hating how he drew attention to himself like that. "Nothing's wrong. Continue on." He said, his voice not wavering. Once they looked away, he slowly lowered himself back down to the ground, his eyes now trained on her. He went to reach out, but he pulled away, in case she is the one how healed him, which she probably did. He didn't want to be too near in case it is something that could injure him. He will have to research it once they get to her kingdom. "Did you know?" He asked, referring to her being able to heal someone.

Amara tensed up slightly when Sebastian mentioned not trusting her father, but she couldnt blame him at all. *He doesnt know my father, but I dont really trust him either, do I? No, he didnt even give me a choice in meeting Sebastian* she thought as she watched him quietly. "I dont really trust my father as is" she said. "It's been hard to since my mother died that I just, pushed myself away from him, though not in the way my brother did to everyone, just in not being as close as we once were" she said as she watched him. Amara felt her cheeks growing warm as Sebastian seemed to get closer. "I am sure your parents would have blamed us for that happening had you not made it" she said quietly. *What family wouldnt? He would have been in our kingdom, and it would have looked like we did it, even though we didnt have a hand in it.* Or at least, she hoped they didnt have a hand in it. Then it clicked. "I might know someone who would have done this" she said quietly. After she had healed him, Amara placed her back against the cave wall, still feeling dizzy though not nearly as bas as what she did right after healing Sebastian. "No, I didnt" she said, her voice only audible to him. "I've never known anyone to be able to do this." Her hands still shook slightly, before she took a deep breath. While she was still weak, Amara knew she would be alright. She was still scared as to what had just happened, but she wasnt sure if it was normal. "Did I really do that" she asked as she looked Sebastian in the eyes. She was still rather confused as to what fully happened.

Sebastian was a bit surprised when Amara said that she didn't trust her father as is. As much as he loves his parents, he doesn't trust them enough to talk to them about anything except for his duty as being King one day. He doesn't know about his private life, his past lover, and how he sneaks out when he can. If they had known about her, he knew that they wouldn't approve of it and would do anything in their power to separate them. Then again, he has always wondered if his parents were the ones who sent someone out to kill her. It certainly didn't look like an accident, but he never questioned his parents as that would only mean he is letting them into a glimpse of his life they don't know about. He tried to find out who did it, but he was never able to figure it out, much to his dismay. It made him feel like he failed her, which he did, even though he knows she would say he didn't. He knew that Amara's mother died a few years ago from a plague that corrupted their kingdoms. He was lucky that no one he cared about caught it as he isn't sure what he would do had they died from it. He thought she would be close to her father, yet he was certainly wrong about that. "I guess that makes things easier then, even though it still might be hard doing so." He pursed his lips, letting his gaze flicker up to her face. He wants to trust her brother, especially since Lorelei is going to try and gain his trust and help him out. Then again, he feels like he can with what Amara has told him about the man. His brows rose when she said she might know who did this. Even though he would like to keep his space due to her healing magic ability type thing, he didn't want anyone to overhear this. It is supposed to be a secret until they can clear things up. "Who?" he questioned lowly. So, she didn't know about this healing ability. He will definitely have to look it up in the library later to see what it is about. Till he has more information, he is going to keep his space. He rather be safe than sorry, even if he wants to be close to Amara. He will just have to force himself to distance himself from her until he gets his answers. He has a feeling it might hurt her, but he will explain it to her later once he has what he needs. He lifted the hem of his pants up, looking at his legs to see if that one was healed. It wasn't, making him think that the wounds only heal if the person touches them close to that injury. He likes that, especially if it ends up draining energy from Amara. "Apparently just my shoulder, Don't you dare try to heal my thigh." He warned, only doing it to prevent her from being weaker than she already is. And it is too close for his liking for someone to touch him there. "I mean it." His voice was stern, leaving no room for argument. He glanced out the cave entrance, seeing that it is night. He sighed before he stood up as he whistled. Zahra came over and he pulled a few blankets from her before putting one on the ground and the other slightly to the side. He went over to her, picking her up in his arms before gently placing her on the blanket. He grabbed the other one and put it over her, giving her a slight smile. "I think we need to rest. You especially. We can figure this thing out together when we get to your kingdom in the library. I will be fine, so don't worry about taking the blankets." He leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead without really thinking once more. "Goodnight." He whispered before he moved away some before leaning back against the cave wall. He crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes closing to go to sleep.

Amara nodded slightly. "All I will tell him if he asks what took so long for us to get back is that we went the long way so you could see more" she said with a small chuckle, though wasnt sure if it was the right time to try to lighten the mood about anything. When he asked who, Amara's face went rather cold. "A guard in my kingdom. For the past few years he's been trying to flirt with me, and supposedly get to know me, but no matter how many times I've told him, I dont like him that way. I dont even like him as one of the guards. He stalks me quite often." She looked down. "When I was finally told about going to the village, that day he finally backed off, and it was because my father told him I was suppose to marry you." She bit her lip a little nervously as she watched for Sebastian's reaction. She wasnt sure what he would think. Amara shook her head. "I dont even know how I did that." She gave a small sigh. "As much as I wish I did, I dont want to feel like this again" she said. She hated to feel sick or weak. It wasnt something she cared for at all. Amara hated to feel vulnerable, and this did just that. When Sebastian had picked her up, she tensed up a first, but relaxed when she hadnt been dropped. Looking over, she saw Luna walking up to lay next to the princess and smiled. "Hey Luna. Better not be causing trouble" she said before she looked back at Sebastian. Amara had blushed a little too obvious and was unable to hide it when he had kissed her forehead. "Let's just hope the library does have something there for us to figure this out." She carefully leaned up against Luna as she often did when she slept in the barn. She hated to be laying down when she wasnt in her own room on the off chance she needed to get up in a heartbeat to get moving. "Goodnight Sebastian" she said as she closed her eyes.

Sebastian gritted his teeth together when she said that this head guard might behind this. His eyes seemed to dangerously narrow as she continued on. So, this man who thought he was worthy of her attention thought he could pursue a relationship with her? Ha, not in a million years does he think that she would fall for someone who tries to force something. Just the thought of him always seeming to flirt with her when she has told him she isn't interested made him feel annoyed for some reason. He had to dial it back, having to remember that she isn't just his. Well, not until they are married anyway. Until that time, he won't be able to say anything about her belonging to him. "We can talk more about this tomorrow sometime." ------------ Sebastian woke up early the next morning, one to be an early riser. He stood up, stumbling slightly when he felt the pain in his leg. He almost forgot about what happened yesterday. He let a sigh leave his lips, his gaze glancing over towards Amara sleeping peacefully. He gave her a soft smile before limping off towards the entrance. He glanced over, seeing that Lorelei is leaning against Enzo with his wing wrapped around her for warmth. He smiled at that, loving how they have such a close bond with each other. He nodded his head at Xander as he passed his best friend before leaving the cave. He stretched his arms above his head, hearing pops. After being up for a bit, he went back inside after enjoying the morning air and sitting on one of the rocks. He went straight to the back to Amara, seeing that everyone is about to get a move on. He bent down on his knees, wincing slightly at the pain in his thigh. He reached out and gently shook her shoulder to wake her up. "Amara, darling. It is time to wake up." He muttered as he shook her a bit more. He glanced up, seeing Lorelei there with the bottled water. He grabbed it from her, mumbling her thanks before she walked off. He turned his attention back to Amara, waiting for her to wake up to give her some water before they head out.
