"yeah, I was kind of just taking a walk too." Sky then said quietly as he made eye contact with the guy. He didn't hold it for long before looking away. He glanced back at the church before looking around. Sky seemed tense but it wasn't just because of what he did, he just usually gets nervous around guys. Without a word he gave the guy one more look before walking away.

Jake nodded once more to the man's answer before meeting his gaze. They held it for a moment before the stranger moved to look at the ruins of the church. Seeing that he didn't need to question the man anymore Jake watched as the man began to walk away. "Well have a swell night sir," he calls, "stay safe out there." He watched the man go a bit more before turning and starting to head back to his apartment.

"You too." Sky then said back to the man. He didnt turn back though, he just kept walking. He exhaled with relief. He then walked back to his house, seeing that he has nothing else to do. He also was getting a tiny bit tired again. He arrived to his house and snuck back in, making it to his room quietly. He hopped right back into bed, going on his phone for a bit before falling asleep.

Once he had returned to his apartment Jake locked the door behind him and slipped off his shoes. He then headed to his bedroom and changed into a pair of shorts and a tank-top to sleep in before collapsing on his bed. It didn't take long for sleep to take over him and soon enough he was out like a light.

(Its okay haha, but yes. Also when you need to brainstorm how they are gonna figure out its sky. Maybe if he burns down something else they will figure out its him)

As the sun came up, Sky began to wake from his sleep. He slowly got up, stretching a bit on the way. "What time is it." He muttered to himself as he checked the time on his phone. It was 8 o'clock. He finally checked his messages from last night. To his surprise his friends didn't want to burn anything else down, they thought it was too risky. Fuck them Sky thought as he got up. Sky got dressed in the same clothes he wears every day. He got on baggy jeans but picked out one of his less baggy pairs in case he had to run. He then got on a black tee before leaving. He went to the gas station with a gas jug thing and bought some gas. Hell, he didn't even know what he was going to burn next.

Jake was up at sunrise and got dressed into his uniform and slipped on his shoes before leaving his apartment. He stopped at the cafe from the other day and ordered a strong coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Once he had gotten his food he headed towards the police station. He had finished his food once he was there and threw the trash away after he finished his coffee. He then greeted the chief, as he sat at a desk in front of the main doors, before heading to his desk. He immediately found some more evidence about the case about the burned down churches waiting for him in a tray.

Skylar made his way the the last church, it was barely burnt down because they caught it quickly. Sky just decided to finish it off. He arrived at the church quickly checking his surroundings before pouring a bunch of gasoline on it. He then quickly lit it. He watched it for a moment before running. Since it was daylight he would either get caught or they would know its him. He just needed to feel something, thats why he did it. (sorry its short, im having family issues)

Jake was sitting at his desk working on the case when multiple calls of a fire started coming through the phones throughout the building. Quickly Jake left his desk and rushed out of the building with a second person. The two hopped into a vehicle and headed towards the place of the fire. As they drove he noticed the man from the other day running away from where the fire was and waited for his partner to pull over before starting the chase after him. "This is officer Gatsby calling in to say I am chasing after a possible subject to the fire," he says into his radio, "I've given chase on foot. No need for backup yet." He then moved his face away from the radio as he sped up his running. "Police! Stop," he yells at the man a bit a head of him.

Sky began to hear sirens in the distance, but they grew closer. He didn't think to look back, he just kept running. That's when he heard the police... His adrenaline was now through the roof. He had to keep running though. "Fuck I'm getting caught." Sky thought, But isn't this what he wanted? He looked back for a split second, seeing the same dude as he did that night. He looked back in front of him, seeing a forest in the distance. "Okay cmon you got this, just run faster!" His mind screamed at him, wanting him to escape but this cop was pretty fast.

-Of course he doesn't stop,- he thinks as he speeds up a bit more. He looks ahead of them and sees the forest approaching. -I can't let him reach the woods,- he thinks, -if he does then who knows what might happen. He might have a trap waiting there or he might know an escape route.- So Jake began to push himself to go as fast as he could, dodging around things a couple of time while people parted to let the two run past. Soon Jake almost has reached the man and reaches his arm out to grab him, his eyes narrowing as they were almost to the forest.
