"If you're sure..." seeming concerned she puts it back on. Upon closer inspection she realized the stranger is actually quite handsome. His dirty blond hair was strangely tangled as if he'd been in the forest all night, but she could tell it would look good brushed out. He had these unnaturally green eyes that seemed to see everything as well. She smiled at him as he helped her across

I gently help her over. If she is exploring, she would not know these woods as well as I do. I live here to hide from humans when I am shifted. I lead the way, making sure to keep her in my perifial vision. Up close, she is actually quite pretty. She almost stands as tall as me. I don't find many people like that.

The landscape slowly starts becoming familiar again as they reach the main path. The small dirt trail widens and turns to asfault once as they slowly merge back with it. Thinking back on it, she realized she probably would have gotten lost without his help. It was a actually pretty sweet of him to do this. Her suspicions begin to fade away. I can feel the road change under my feet. I turn left as I see the store closing in. I smile as the town unfolds. Grumpy Mr. B (In my blog) is trying to mow his lawn. I'll have to help him later. I groun internally at the prospect. I brush the hair out of my eyes and continue on.

Chloe turns to him as she moves forwards to walk next to him. "Where in town do you live?" She asked curiously. He felt vaguely familiar, but then again it was a smaller town. She saw a lot of the same people everywhere she went, even if she never spoke with them.

"I live in a cabin back there. One the you would associate with an old fart or a very antisocial guy." I say. I smile. Just antisocial, not very antisocial. This girl seems nice. I wonder if she will go 'exploring' again. I hope it is not at night. There are monsters out there.

"A cabin?" She's surprised, although strangely it makes sense. "That's pretty cool, I've never known anyone who lives in one, just people who rent them for vacation" She wonders if he lives near her daily route. That would explain where she has seen him before Edited at May 18, 2024 10:18 PM by Flix

I smile. "Yeah, cool... How about you? Live 'round here? Or in the next town over?" I ask. She gives me the inpression I have seen her before. Where? On one of my night hunts? Maybe....

She smiles back at him. "I actually just live right bordering the forest! I have to cross it everyday to get to work and school," Chloe explains as they walk. Thinking about the forest makes her wonder why he lives there instead of in town. Maybe a place he inherited? Edited at May 18, 2024 10:21 PM by Flix

"I must get up earlier than you most days. I've only seen you twice before. I slept in today, so I was running a little late." I say. Really, I was just meandering. We are almost to her job. Just another 200 ft. (61 m). "I trust you can find your way from here?" I say.
