Skylar watched as the guy who he had stared at walked away. He didnt think anything of it so he continued to skate, making some conversations with his friends. "hey let's go skate around town." bill said (one of his friends) They all nodded as they made their way to the street. They didn't know where to they were going so they just skated. As they got pretty far from the skatepark Skylar spotted what looked to be the same dude as before in the distance. He squinted his eyes before shrugging it off. As they made their way closer they ended up passing him. He glanced back, but only for a split second. He then realized it was the same guy.

As Jake walked he stopped a couple of times to talk to a few of the townsfolk that knew him well and he knew the same. After each conversation he continued walking and after a while heard the sound of skateboards behind him. He made sure to be careful and watched as the group past him at a decent pace. His gaze watched them go and noticed the man with long, brown hair from earlier look back at him from the group. -Some coincidence to se him again,- he thinks as he continues on to his apartment. Once there he heads inside of the building and walks up the stairs to his floor. He then opened the door to his apartment and walked in with a sigh at the mess it was. "Guess I should get to work," he mutters as he slips off his shoes and begins to pick up some of the things off the floor.

As the day grew into night, some of Skys friends have left, leaving only 3 of them. They decided to make their way to the church one last time. "Is there any other churchs?" sky asked as they arrived at the church. They both shook their head. The next church was a 30 minute drive and they didnt have a car to get there. They ddint stay for long before all heading back to their own places. Sky sighed walking into his room. He immediately took off his shirt and changed into just shorts. He then hopped into bed, spending an hour on his phone before falling asleep.

Throughout the rest of the day Jake worked on cleaning his apartment, only getting off task a couple of times. By the time he saw the sun setting he had cleaned both the kitchen and the main room and taken out two bags of trash. He let out a sigh and collapsed on the couch for a minute before ordering some Pad-thai for dinner. As he waited for his food to arrive he forced himself to get up and clean the hallway to his room a bit more. After half-an-hour a knock came from his door and he grabbed his wallet and opened it. He then tipped the delivery girl and wished her a good night before closing the door.

Sky began to toss and turn in his sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about the church. He then opened his eyes, checking the time on his phone. The clock read 5:45 am. He then tried to go back to sleep but couldn't. He got up and got dressed into sweats and a hoodie before leaving. He made his way down the the church, finding a spot to sit. He sat there for a bit just staring at the church. A part of him wanted to get caught. He pulled out his phone, then texted his friends. "wanna burn down more shit or something." he waited for their responses but got up while doing so.

After almost an hour Jake had eaten his food and cleaned up what was left of his apartment. Now he could go to bed but seeing that he still had energy he slipped on a pair of shoes and decided to take a walk. Just in case he grabbed his police ID and pistol, since he knew how the city could get at night. He then headed out the door and onto the sidewalk. He walked aimlessly until finding himself near the church that had burned the night before. Jake stopped and stared at the ruins of the building and sigh some. "Hopefully we can find who did this," he mutters silently before starting to walk away. As he did so he noticed someone standing nearby and cocked an eyebrow at this. Curiosity got the better of him as Jake started to head in the stranger's direction.

Sky put his phone in his pocket and as he did so he heard what sounded to be footsteps. He didn't dare to turn his head, thinking it was just one of his friends. He continued to stare at the building as the footsteps grew closer, meaning whoever it was eas close. His heart sped up at bit, not knowing what was going to happen. Before the person could reach his Sky started to walk.

Jake had nearly reached the person when they had started to walk away. -Of course they move before I get to them- he thinks as he jogs a bit forward to stop them. "Excuse me sir," he says in a calm voice as he places a hand on the other's shoulder, "but do you mind me asking why you are over here? Or why you are out at such a late time?" Jake realized that the second question was kind of dumb since he himself was out here pretty late. -But it doesn't hurt to ask- he thinks as he waits for an answer from the man. (Sorry it's shorter)

Before Skylar could get away, he heard a man's voice. He couldn't even ignore him since the man then put his hand on his shoulder. Sky turned around with a blank face. "I just wanted to see." Sky said before then saying. "Why are you out here this late." He then shrugged his shoulder, hopefully causing the guy to stop touching him. Sky then backed up a bit, giving them more space so that he was a bit more comfortable.

He listened to the man's answer and could have sworn he looked slightly familiar. -He's the man from the skate-park,- he realizes in his head, -that's why he looks familiar.- Jake then snapped out of his thoughts as the man asked him a question. "Oh- well," he says then pauses, "I was just going for a walk. That's all, just a late night walk." He then released his hand from the other's shoulder as they shrugged and backed up a bit. -Crap, forgot about personal space,- Jake thinks as he moves some to leave more of a gap between them.
