As the moon started to rise in the clear night sky Autumn looked back to her sons bedroom for just a moment knowing he would be safe just a mothers worry pumping through her blood like it did every full moon. She slipped out the back door that led to the ranch which was acres and acres of land for cows, goats, hogs, and many other animals to roam during daylight hours. Autumn quickly took her wolf form and went off into the night quickly marking her territory with her scent to keep other wolfbloods out and keep other predators at bay, she did this to protect both her son and her animals because they were their source of income. Autumns eyes scanned around the dark forest surrounding her property smelling the air for any signs of danger, after clearing each section of her property Autumn settled her self down beside the back fence of the ranch closest to the backdoor incase her son awoke and started to look for her.
Autumn's wolf knew her son and his scent well, it would never hard her both and she knew that. All that being said she prefered his to stay inside on the full moon because of the possibility of rival wolfbloods scenting her and entering the territory. Though wolfblood were not know for killing cubs she couldnt chance her only son on possible mere speculation, so instead of testing fate she drilled it into his little head that he was not to exit the home when the moon was full and out. He gave a little push back on the subject a few times but she always prevailed when it came to stare downs with her boy.
