Jake began to ask a few of the civilians if they had seen anything strange as the other officer that was with him went to try and find any cameras. Sadly none of the people Jake talked to had any information for him. -Well this is most likely going to be a bust,- he thinks and heads to talk to the fire chief. "I hope no one was inside," Jake says to the chief. "Nope. And sadly looks like this old girl is going to fall to the ground," the chief says, "we've done all we could but she's going to collapse soon. So now we have to back up and wait then extinguish the flames then." Jake nodded and radioed the other officer to tell them to get the people to back up as he also went to move the crowd back. Once the crowd had moved the firetrucks and firefighters moved back and everyone fell silent as the church collapsed due to the fire. When everything had settled the firefighters began to douse the flames once more. Jake went back to talk to the fire chief and they agreed to share the fire report with the police department once it came in. "The report will be helpful to tell if this was an accident of on purpose," the fire chief says as Jake nods. "Sadly I think it's on purpose," Jake says, "seeing that another church has been burned down this month it was probably the same person or people that did this." "Well don't jump to conclusions," the chief says, "sometimes all it takes it leaving a candle burning for this stuff to happen." Jake nods and steps away to listen to the other officer as they said that they should head back to the station since there was nothing else left to do.

Skylar then looked back out the window, seeing the church now collapsed. He didn't feel bad at all, he just didn't want to get caught. He got up and walked to his bathroom and then proceeded to take off his clothes and take a shower, getting rid of any smell. He tried to clear his mind in the shower as he washed up, which for the most part didn't work. After about 20 minutes he got out, got dry and dressed. He picked out some baggy jeans with a graphic tee. He had no plans for today but he knows it will be best if he just stays low but he doesn't want to. In a way he thinks that would make him look more suspicious. He pulled out his phone and texted his friends. Yo you guys wanna meet up in a bit to skate? He waited for a response and most of his friends hesitated but he convinced them. They decided to go out closer to 7 am, it was currently 3 am. Maybe I should try and get some sleep. Sky thought as he laid down in his bed, shutting his eyes.

Once the two were back at the station they went to fill out a report on the situation that just happened. As Jake worked on the paper he would let out the occasional yawn followed by rubbing his eyes. He then turned in the filled out report to the police chief. "You should head home Jake," the chief says as he looks over his report. "You sure sir," Jake asks, "I can stay until a few more people come in." The chief shakes his head and moves his hand in a shooing motion, "Yes I am sure. You need sleep to work more on the case. Now go home and rest. I don't want to see you in here until noon. Got it?" Jake nods with a tired look in his eyes before heading out of the station. His apartment wasn't far from the station, a block and a half away in fact. Once he got there Jake trudged through the apartment to his bedroom and changed into a t-shirt and shorts. He then went and locked his door and turned off the lights before flopping down in his bed and passing out.

Skylar then woke up the next morning to texts. Hey guys want to go skating? Most of them said yes but it's been a while since that text was sent. Skylar texted them back, telling them to meet up at his house. Sky then jumped up out of bed and got on some shorts and a black tank top since it was hot. He liked wearing shirts that showed off his muscles. He then looked at himself in the mirror before putting on some skin stuff. He then grabbed his board then waited outside on his porch. His friends showed up quickly after and they all decided to go check out the church.

Jake was awoken in the morning by both his alarm and sunshine peaking through his blinds. He turned off his alarm and rolled over for a minute before climbing out of bed with a groan. Jake then changed into some sweatpants and an old t-shirt before going into his kitchen to find something to eat. He opened the cabinet and look in it before opening the fridge. Sadly nothing seemed to entice him. He looked at the time and decided to go get something for breakfast. So, once he slipped his sneakers on, he headed out of his apartment and down the street, greeting a few people who said good morning to him. He decided to head to a coffee shop that was near a skate park, since it did have some good coffee and food.

As Sky and his friends got there they gazed at the burnt down church. They all dapped him up as they smiled. Sky let out a small smile as he looked around. "C'mon, let's get outta here." He said, his voice was low but he smiled as he said it. He then got on his board as he led the way. They made their way down to their local skatepark which had a coffee shop near it. "Hey wait, wanna get drinks real quick." Most of his friends agreed as they all made their way to the shop. As they got in Sky looked before making his way to the front to order. He then ordered a strawberry hibiscus drink and anything else his friends wanted. They didn't wait too long for their drinks. He then paid, grabbed his drink and left.

Jake headed into the shop and ordered himself some coffee as well as a breakfast sandwich. He then waited for his food before heading to an outside table to eat his breakfast. His gaze went towards the skate-park as he watched the different people there skate around on skateboards or roller-skates. He was always amazed by what kind of tricks they came up with, since he never was one to skate really well. As he was sitting there watching people come and go from the park he felt his phone buzz in his pocket. Thinking it was a timer saying he should head to work he started to clean up before looking down at it seeing it was a text from his chief. "A few of the other officers told me how much you've been working. Take the day off Jake, you deserve it." Was what the text read. -Guess I don't have to leave yet then- he thinks as he settles back down to finish eating. Once he was finished he grabbed his coffee cup, which was now empty, and headed back in to get another and to throw his trash away. After getting his new coffee he went over to a bench beside the skate-park and sat down to just watch the skaters. He watched as a group of boys around his age came into the park on skateboards. He watched them for a bit to see what tricks they did and found his gaze kept landing on the one with longer brown hair and a black tank top. Jake didn't think much of it though and continued to drink his coffee as he watched the guys skate.

Skylar and his friends made their way to the skate park. They still continued to skate down ramps even though they had drinks. It was certainly harder to skate but they still did it. Sky then made his way the the edge of where the cemet stopped and set his drink down on the edge. He then began doing some jumps and tricks. He went up and down bowls (idk what you call them) He made his way back to his drink, taking a big sip before looking around. There were only a few people around, one of which was watching them. He was sitting on one of the benches close to the skatepark. He started at him for a second before setting his drink down before continuing to skate.

Jake looked around the park some more before realizing his coffee was running low. -I'll leave when it's empty- he thinks, -where I'll go, I don't know... Probably home and be lazy all day.- As he thinks this his eyes drift around the park again and land on the same guy from before. This time the other looked his way and they locked eyes for a few minutes before the stranger skated away. "You really have to stop staring at people Jake," he mutters to himself as he gets up and heads out of the park, throwing his empty coffee cup away. He looks back once more at the skaters before heading off towards his apartment. Jake began to make a mental checklist of what he wanted to do today. Mostly he planned to try and get his apartment cleaner than it was, but he doubted he would get very far to start with.
