Amara looked more shocked as she explained the different witches out there. "Well, I guess you would be the only one I would ask for anything then, that is if it was even needed" she said as she glanced at Sebastian, wondering what he was thinking as well. She wanted to bring up how apparently Luna was used to help bring back Rosalind, but she wasnt sure if now was the best time. Amara looked back at the other female before she looked at the tea that was made. She bit her lip being a little nervous, but figured if it was something bad at least Sebastian would see right then. She started to drink, and finished it before she looked at Rosalind. "I am assuming it wont work right away" she said as she reached to hold Sebastian's hand. She started to miss being at home a bit, but she was still glad to be with Sebastian rather than away from him. He already knew how she felt about him, since she just couldnt keep it to herself, but she did start to wonder if he did feel the same. Amara let her mind wonder a bit before she looked at Rosalind. "I have a weird question. Is it possible for you to make a potion that forces someone to speak the truth" she asked. Her head tilted slightly. ~~~ Aro sighed. "I just need to make sure you know exactly what is at stake here. It's not just your life." He moved over to the desk and started to write a letter. He knew Sebastian would read it and understand what needed to be said to his parents. He did his best to make it really sound like Lorelei had died from her wounds, and that she was buried in the gardens by the castle since there had been threats of Sebastian causing the girls to get kidnapped. As Aro wrote he sighed. He dipped his finger in the water glass that sat on the desk, letting it drip and look like tears from himself. Once it was done, he folded it up and shook his head. "Now we just have to wait for the messenger to bring this to your brother." he said. "While it's not the best, its the only option I have, otherwise my father will get suspicious. None of them would be able to win me over. That's for sure." He hated the idea that other women will come to try and flirt, though he knew they would fail. "I said I know you dont like dresses, not that I would make you wear them. Having you act as a personal servant would prevent that." Aro got up from the desk and opened up a door that had been locked attached to his room. "Each royal member has a room where personal servants live. The only time you would HAVE to be there is if someone other than the nurse is here. Otherwise I dont care which room you are in" he said.

Rosalind laughed slightly as she shrugged her shoulders. "Yeah, if you ever do, always send for me. Just don't spread the word as I don't need to be killed a second time." She said with a wink as she started to put her items back in her bags. "And it doesn't. Like I said, in the next few days you will feel some tingling, indicating that feeling is starting to come back. Then it obviously progresses until you have complete feeling in two weeks to a month. Twice a day you drink that and it will be permanent as stated before." She said as she closed the bag. Sebastian's eyes were watching Rosalind rather closely, still surprised that she is here. He pressed a kiss to Amara's forehead before she moved himself away to go to Rosalind. "Are you leaving so soon?" He asked her, almost seeming to look at her with puppy dog eyes to make her stay here. She laughed at him slightly as it seemed to almost be begging her to stay. "Of course I am. Well, until Amara has her feeling back in her legs." She said before he could celebrate. Even though he wants her here, it is going to be hard with both women he loves in close range. One he almost married but then was killed and then the other that he is engaged too. "Fine, fine." He said with a wave of his hand before going back to Amara and going back to his previous position. When Amara asked her if she is able to make a truth potion, she looked between Amara and Sebastian. She wonders if she asked that to use it on Sebastian. Then again, they seemed happy so she isn't completely sure why the woman would ask her about a truth potion. She knows that Sebastian will tell her whatever she wants to know even if it might take a while for him to tell her. "Before I answer that, whatever potions I make by my hand don't work on me. That is how it is for all witches. They can't use their own potions as it could even potentially kill them." She explained, hoping that will explain to her why she can't use it herself if the woman asks her to. "But yes I can. Why do you want it and who are you using it on?" She asked with a raised brow, curious as to what is going on. ~~~~~~ Lorelei knew what is at stake. She wouldn't be stupid enough to put her daughter's life at risk. She pushed off the bed and went over to Aro and read what he wrote down in the letter. Her brows rose, a satisfied hun leaving her lips at how convincing it seems. And then he added the water droplets that look like he was crying while reading this. "Very convincing. Both writing and presentation wise." She said as she watched him fold the letter up. "Maybe you should write stuff sometime." She suggested, knowing that if he can write things this good, writing what he wants will turn out amazing. She rolled her eyes when he seemed so confident that none of the women would be able to win him over. She doesn't like the fact of this idea at all, but he is right that he has to do it that it will look suspicious if she doesn't do this. Just watch, some woman is going to walk in and end up winning him over. Wouldn't that be a treat? "True, true. We don't need him getting suspicious." She scoffed at his comment about dresses. She probably should wear a dress to help look the part, especially if she is out in front of people. "No, I'll wear a dress. It will help look the part. But be warned, whether you are in the room or not, I'm stripping my dress as soon as I enter the room. Just saying." She said, her hands up in defense as a small laugh left her lips. She hummed as she looked at the room that is attached to his. "I rather prefer to be here with you so I know I'm safe. But like you said, I'll be in there when you have company in here." She wished she didn't have to depend on someone so much to help and protect her, but she can't do it by herself now with everything going on. "Now we have that sorted, why don't you get me that burnt auburn color, hmm?"

Amara shook her head. "I don't plan to tell anyone. Not like anyone really needs to know about you being one." She seemed a little sad when she said it wouldn't work right away, but she would need to just try to be patient. That wouldn't be the easiest thing in the world. She wondered what she would do until she could feel her legs. She assumed Sebastian would be busy with other things around here. Amara tensed up slightly when Sebastian asked Rosalind if she was leaving already. She was beginning to feel mixed. Sure, she wanted his former lover gone, but at the same time, she had been so willing to help, even when Amara had been rather cold and harsh to start. She bit her lip slightly as she tried to not show how she felt. Amara looked at Rosalind as she explained about the potions. She shook her head at the mention of using it Rosalind. "The man who did this to me, my father trusts him a little too much, and he planted the blame on Sebastian. I want to get him to confess what he did to my father, and why" she said. Her voice cracked a bit as she spoke, feeling vulnerable again like when Haru managed to get her kidnapped. "I want my father to know the truth, and to not hate Sebastian." ~~~~ Aro shook his head when she mentioned him writing more. He was no writer. He only did this since it would help Lorelei in more ways than one. "I don't plan to write much" he said as the nurse came through the hidden passage to check on Lorelei. He passed her the letter before she walked over to Lorelei, ready to check her wounds. Aro looked at the nurse. "I'll need you to grab a few servant outfits" he told her before she nodded to him. "Not all Servants wear dresses. The ones in the kitchens don't, and personal Servants can either wear them or not. It sets them apart from the rest with an easier look" he replied. Aro wasn't sure where to get the dye, and planned to have the nurse grab it. He looked at her when Lorelei asked about it, and the nurse understood. "I'll have it with me tomorrow when I come in. I'll have to look for it after I get off shift tonight." Aro gave a short nod, glad the nurse was doing the job he asked. Edited at May 28, 2022 09:31 AM by saratank

Ah, it was someone that did this to her. Lorelei assumed so but she wasn't going to ask either as it was none of her business in the first place. Her eyes flickered to Sebastian when she heard that the blame was planted in him. She knew he would never be able to do such a thing. This must be the reason why it sounds like the war is getting so bad again from what she heard. "It can be... arranged." She said, indicating that she would make one. Obviously she usually does this more money but she isn't going to ask for that. "Tell me something, did he work with someone." She asked as she started to get the ingredients out. Sebastian hesitated as he knew the man who killed her was. It was the same one that kidnap Lorelei twice. "Yes. It was Damian." He said, watching as her body stiffened but she continued to work. "He also took Lorelei... twice now." He explained, watching as her jaw is tense and anger is blazing in her eyes as she worked. "He also go Lorelei pregnant. And speaking of that, can you make a protection sleep for the child?" He asked, wanting to protect the child, knowing Lorelei would want the same. "Yep, coming right up. Two truth pulls, one for the trusted guard and the other for that man." She spit, not even able to say the name. "And a protection spell for the child. Once I finish them, I'll have my companion deliver them and they will be there by night tomorrow or in the morning after tomorrow." ~~~~ Lorelei sighed when he said he didn't want to write. Then again, if anything, she loved his drawing the most. She always tells him how good it is and how much she loves it, even if he brushes her off because of that. She wanted to push the nurse away when she told her to sit down. It isn't like she is dying or anything to where she needs to be checked all the time. Then again, she did almost die. The nurse eventually go to her face and started to clean the nicely healing gash on her cheek. Lorelei knew a scar would form, just like how she has the other as well. Now she knows that no one is every going to love her at all with these hideous things. "Stop." She said when the nurse was cleaning it, not wanting it to be touched. It only made her angry and sad that she has to look like this, knowing that no man will want her. When the nurse continued to clean her wound in her face, she had enough since she didn't listen. "I said stop." She said firmly with a slightly raised voice. That did it for the nurse before she pulled away and made distance between them. Lorelei seemed to have slight tears in her eyes before she looked away and out the window so no one would see that and the scars. "It's fine. I wear a dress. If they are like my kingdom, they are also different colors to show that someone has a personal servant. A dress is fine." She muttered, still looking away from the both of them, trying to not let the tears slip. "Thank you. I appreciate it." She said, grateful that the nurse is going to look for the dye. Once the nurse left, she didn't even look at Aro. She continued to look out the window. She was ugly and she knew that. Perhaps she should just become a servant for life since no one will ever love her. Edited at May 28, 2022 01:15 PM by Deadly Karma

Amara looked grateful when Rosalind was willing to make the potion. Finally she would be able to prove to her father Sebastian wasnt behind the attack, and perhaps they would be able to continue with their plans to get married. She closed her eyes for a moment as she listened to Sebastian telling Rosalind about the other man, Damian. Amara didnt really remeber much about the attack that took place other than the pain one of the minions Haru had gave her. She glanced at Sebastian and Rosalind. "When my father finds out the truth, I cant wait to see his face when he realizes he supposedly loyal guard has done." She looked at Rosalind before she spoke again. "Thank you" she said, meaning it. While Amara had been hesitant before, she was glad it really seemed like Rosalind was on their side for sure. Amara looked at Sebastian with a small smile. "I think we have a lot of planning that needs to happen" she said before she looked down at her bandages. Most of them were on her legs and stomach, and she knew they would need to be changed, but she wasnt going to bother Sebastian about that right then. ~~~ Aro watched as the nurse hurried before she took off out of the room. While he wasnt happy that Lorelei did that, he couldnt blame her as he did the same. He looked out the window of his room as his eyes seemed narrowed, thinking about having more brats run around trying to get close. They would more than likely be the daughters that wouldnt be able to rule without needing to marry, which Aro always hated the most. He glanced over at Azaria before he looked at Lorelei. He wasnt sure why she picked to stay in his room, but he wouldnt argue about it. He found it more odd than anything. "You need to let her help with your wounds" he said. "They will get infected if you dont. And I am sure you dont want to get sick from infections to keep you from taking care of Azaria." Aro knew the first princess would be there in a few days, and he wasnt looking forward to it one bit. He clenched his fist before he motioned to the plate of food. "You better eat" he said. "You need to keep up your strength."

Sebastian woke up, seeing that there was a tray of food and the mixture that Rosalind whipped up for Amara to help with her legs. Speaking of Amara, he looked down at her, seeing her sleeping peacefully. He smiled softly before leaning down and pressing a kiss to her forehead before he removed himself from the bed. As much as he wants to stay in bed with her, he has some duties to attend to... and to check in Rosalind. He went to the bathroom and took a quick shower to start the day fresh. He wrapped a towel around his waist, water dripping down his frame as he left the bathroom and entered his room. He glanced outside, seeing that it is probably half past ten, causing him to go over to Amara since she is still sleeping. He leaned down and brushed her hair out of her face before gently shaking her shoulders. "Walk up, darling. You've been sleeping all day." He teased her, a soft smile in his face. ~~~~~~ Lorelei woke up before anyone else did. Aro was still sleeping and Azaria was still peacefully asleep on the crib. She looked over at Aro next to her, seeing how carefree he seems when he doesn't have to worry about anything. She smiled slightly as she reached out and brushed his hair out of his face. Last night one of the princesses ended up coming in, so today is they day they meet. Well, for lunch anyways. She hated the idea that he is actually going through with this, but it is what it is. Maybe it is meant to be considering it seems that her liking him is one-sided. She heard a soft knock at the door, having her get up quickly but quietly. She took the items from the nurse, her brows furrowed together as she opened it and there were potions. She read the note and she about dropped it when she learned about Rosalind being alive and being a witch on top of that. After reading about the potions, she wrote a letter for Aro about the directions that Rosalind put in the letter. She told him to give the blue potion to Azaria when they are both awake and to wait to do the other potion later. She wanted to be there, especially since she wants to do it with Damian. She quickly went into the adjoined room to change into one of the dresses. She pulled her shoulder blade length and burnt auburn hair up into a ponytail. From there, she left the room and smiled at the other servants, none of them really knowing who she is but knowing that she is Aros personal servant. She went to the kitchen, grabbing some food for Aro before returning to the room and dropping it off. After that, she went back to the kitchen to help the cooks prepare food for lunch. Let's just say that the cooks liked her touch on the food and have asked her to work with them in important dishes.

Amara slowly stirred as she heard and felt Sebastian calling to her. As her eyes opened she started to stretch and smiled. "Morning" she said as she looked at Sebastian. "What time is it?" She looked around before trying to pull herself into a sitting position. The past few days had been slow to her, not being able to do much, and with Sebastian still needing to be the prince of the kingdom she knew he couldnt be around the whole time. She wasnt going to lie, she did wonder what he told people about her, along with wondering if Sebastian was spending time with Rosalind as well. While she knew the other woman was telling the truth now about wanting to only help, she couldnt help but feel a little jealous. Amara slowly ran her hands over her legs like she did often since Rosalind started giving her the tea. She stiffened up a bit before she spoke. "Sebastian, I think I feel a little bit" she told him. She didnt want to get her hopes up, but she gave a look to Sebastian, as if to ask him to help her stand up. Her eyes landed back on her legs as though she wasnt sure it was really happening. ~~~ Aro had woken up some time after Lorelei was out of the room. He shook his head as he finally climbed out of the bed and glanced around the room. His eyes landed on the potions on his desk and he narrowed his eyes. He made his way over and looked at them before he read the note Lorelei left. He didnt seem too pleased to see that the potions were there to make people tell the truth, and he wondered how they got a hold of them, but the one for Azaria he would give to her when she woke up. Aro paced the room a bit before he sighed. He remembered he would be meeting with yet another princess that day, and he wasnt all that happy about it. He didnt want to deal with them anymore when his mind was already made up. He knew what he wanted, but he still had to make his father think otherwise, and this was torture. Aro wished he knew how Amara was doing, and wished he knew they were making progress on how to make their father see what was going on, but maybe that was what the potions were for. He did know either way, Amara was probably much happier away from their father than if she was here dealing with more princes. He wondered what her father would have done had she been here. She couldnt feel her legs, and no prince would have been kind enough to her about it. That much he knew. They were all too harsh and only cared about themselves when it came to matters like that, making him think they would have just married her to be on their father's side, not treating her like an equal. While Amara stirred, Sebastian went to the window and opened the curtains, enjoying the warm feeling of the sun as it poured into the room. He looked over his shoulder at her as she asked what time it was. "It is half past ten, darling." He said as he cracked the window open just a little bit for some fresh air in the room. It will help considering she has been in the room majority of the time she has been here. "I would've woken you up sooner, but since you don't have any duties to attend to, I let you sleep in." He said softly as he went back over to the bed and sat on the edge of the bed. He hates everything she has gone through and he wonders how Lorelei is fairing being with Aro. He just hopes that everything is going decently and that his niece is being protected. He knows that if either of them gets hurt, someone has hell to pay. He hopes that the potion that Rosalind whipped up helps with everything going on over there as well. He was lost in his thoughts that he almost didn't hear what she said. His gaze slid down to her legs over a moment before he ran a hand up them softly. "Can you feel that?" He asked with a tilt of his head. He knew that she wanted to stand up and see if the feeling in her legs were there, but he didn't want to push it and have her get hurt in the process. He reached over and grabbed the cup of tea before handing it to her. "Before we try anything, drink this first." He said as he looked at her with a pleading look to drink it. "It will make me feel better if you had another dose in you before I help stand you up." He added to help with his case in case she doesn't agree with him. ~~~~~~~~ Halfway through cooking, Lorelei stopped for a moment and swept her hair into a low ponytail. A sigh left her lips as she got back to work. She still can't believe she cut her hair and changed her hair color. She knew she has to do it if she didn't want to get recognized let alone be killed. She didn't know what the consequences would be if Aro's father found out who she truly is and she didn't want to find out about it. She shook her head, knowing that it was not good to dwell on something that will probably not happen for a good amount of time. Once everything was done, she wiped her hands on the apron that she was wearing. The chef kept telling her over and over again how thankful he was for her help and for making the food more delicious than they already were. She felt good that she actually did something right and thanked him for everything. She excused herself to walk to Aro's room as it was about time he starts getting ready for the meeting. She only knew how to cook because she wanted something to do to get her mind off of things and find a place to escape from her parents. The library and the kitchen were the two places she could actually relax for once when she was back home. Well, home wasn't home anymore after learning about everything. Once she came up to Aro's room, she stopped before the door. She took her hair out and smoothed it down before reaching up and knocking on the door. She didn't care if she was a bit of a mess since she was just in the kitchen. She will obviously clean up and change into something different once she gets inside before the meeting with this princess came. She didn't like Aro meeting with this woman but she didn't have a choice considering she had a feeling he doesn't feel the same way she feels about him. "It's me, Aro." She said after she knocked. Amara didnt like how late it had been when she was finally up, but then again, with the days dragging and nothing else being able to happen, she wasnt all that surprised she slept so long. "You dont have to let me sleep in you know" she said with a small tease. "You could always wake me up. I do enjoy the sunrises still." She gave a small smile when he sat on the bed. When Sebastian ran his hands down her leg, she nodded. "It's faint, but I can feel it" she said as she looked at her legs. She knew it was only a matter of time before she was walking again, and she was grateful for that. *What will we do when I can walk again* she thought. She worried about her brother, her father. What they both thought of what was happening. She knew her father still blamed Sebastian when this wasnt his fault. Amara took the drink and sighed. "I hope the potion Rosalind made got to Aro quickly. I want to be sure that fool Haru is telling the truth that it wasnt you who did this." she said. "Hopefully that will help show my father you had nothing to do with this." She drank from the cup rather quickly, hating the taste, though she knew she needed to keep drinking the stuff in order to feel better and to be able to actually walk again without constant help. ~~~ Aro heard the knock on the door and glanced over. "Come in" he said as he placed the potions down on his desk. He made his way to the closet and pulled out one of his darker green suits that hugged his form rather nicely. He dressed quickly, assuming the new princess was either nearly here, or already here, dreading both options. "She was still asleep" he said motioning to the sleeping child. "I wasnt able to give her anything to hide who she is." Aro leaned against the wall as he glanced out of the crack in the curtains. He shook his head as he heard footsteps down the hall. "I dont care if he is sleeping! If he is to be my future husband he better wake up and get over it" he heard a female voice say. He knew the servants were trying to get her to stop, but that wasnt going to happen. Clenching his fists, his eyes narrowed. This was going to be a ling day. The female reached his room and pushed the door wide open, her nearly snow white hair confirmed to Aro she was going to be high maintence, and he hated women like that. Nothing ever seemed to please them. "Perfect! I see you are up, and your servant has food! I am famished" The princess said without an introduction. She went to take food off the try, but Aro grabbed her arm rather roughly. "First off, you dont go barging into MY room" he snapped. "Second, You dont take ANYTHING brought in here for me." The moment she saw the scars on his face, he saw the fear in her eyes. Aro let go of her arm. "Well, if you are to be my future husband, you better get used to it" she snapped back. "And you will cover up those scars." It took everything in Aro to no slap the woman right then. He hated being ordered around, and was barely letting Lorelei get away with it some times, though that was for a different reason than this princess before him. Sebastian gave her a teasing roll of his eyes at her comment. Of course, he would love for her to come with him to the office, but he is trying to keep her a secret from his parents. He only has one servant come in and out of here that he truly trusts as he knows she won't say anything to anyone let alone his parents. He is grateful for that as he didn't want to explain to anyone why he has a princess stuck in his room all the time without any explanations whatsoever. "I know, but still. Maybe tomorrow I will wake you up before the sun rises then since I don't have to be up early for anything." He stated as he watched her take a sip of her tea and make a face like she always does. "I'm sure that the potions have already gotten there. Perhaps they will send a letter back but without anyone that will let their mouths yap about the secrets we are keeping on both sides." He explains as he took the cup of the now empty tea and set it on the nightstand. He hopes that the confession will be enough or there will be many more years on having war between the two kingdoms and multiple causalities along the way. That's the last thing he wants. "I'm sure it will, especially since the potion for your legs has been working." He is proud that Rosalind is finally doing something she loves doing but also keeping it a secret except for people she trusts. He is grateful she still trusts him after all of these years. As much as his love for her in his heart is still there, his heart now belongs to Amara and that isn't going to be changing anytime soon. "Alright, lets try and get you up." He said as he stood up from the bed. He put an arm behind her back and the other under the back of her knees and pulled her over the side of the bed. After that, he moved his arm away from her and than grabbed her gently under the arms. "You got this. If you don't, let me know and I'll lower you back down." He said as he slowly stood her up. He obviously didn't much time before there was a knock and Rosalind entered the room. "Hello, darling." He said to her as he kept his grip on Amara. "How you doing, love?" He asked Amara, his gaze on her rather than Rosalind. "We have a problem, Sebastian." ~~~~~~~~ Lorelei slipped into the room before Aro could change his mind. He honestly couldn't considering he is the one with Azaria. She went over to her daughter, seeing her sleeping peaceful before her gaze slipped to Aro. Her head tilted to the side as he glanced at the suit that he is going to be wearing. She has a feeling that is going to look rather nice on him and she can't wait to see it when he is wearing. "That is okay. I'll take care of it before I go with you to lunch while the maid that we trust takes care of her. I obviously can't go out there with a baby on my hip as that isn't going to look good on me." She muttered as she looked back down at Azaria. "I hope lunch will be to your liking. I prepared most of the dishes since the chef let me and complimented me on it. Obviously if you don't, that is okay too. I'll make something that you like next time." She said as she brushed off some flour from her cheek. As soon as she heard yelling and what the woman was saying, she knew it was the princess. She cringed at how rude and patient she sounded and wanted to curl up in the ball from the yelling that she was doing since she doesn't do well with it. "Let me change and call the maid and I'll be back to help with things." She stated before she gently picked up Azaria, surprised the babe stayed asleep before slipping into the adjecent room. She laid her daughter in the crib just as there was a knock on her door. She let the maid slip in, explaining what she wants to do as she slipped into a wine colored maid dress. She slipped some of the potion into a milk bottle, telling the woman she needs to make sure Azaria takes this before slipping away. She straightened her clothes and hair before knocking on Aro's door and slipping in. Of course she had to enter at the time that she watched the princess grab the food she brought him and then him snapping at her. Yikes, this isn't going to go well. She should've suggested to him before she left that he should act at least somewhat nice to the princess. Though, after her snapping back about the food and then covering his scar, she takes that back. He can be as mean to her as much as he wishes to as this woman seems like an utter asshole. "Princes Aro." She spoke out, cringing slightly at calling him by his title for once. But obviously it is for show if she wants to blend in. "And Princess. Lunch is about to be served. Let me lead you to the dining hall." She hated how formal she had to be as it something she never was towards other people.
