I grumble and look away. "I have him under control." I mumble under my breath for speaking up. "Will you stop stepping in? I doubt you do this every customer, so why me?"

"Are we just going to sit here and argue?" I ask. "Clearly I'm not winning. For one man who tells me to do to another. Just my luck." I grumble. I took out the sleeves in my dress. Thomas didn't want them, but I finally committed him to get me something with long sleeves. In order to cover up a burn scar on my arm.

You know what, I should just shut up. I am not helping anything. And if anything, I'm going to get myself kicked out. "Alright, can we go? I'm tired of arguing, and I'm going to need a strong drink after what happened between me and Thomas." I say. Then I pause before I add, "Can we stop by the fire station? I just need to tell the captain that I will be taking a quick break to get my feet underneath me. I'll still be under reserve, but I won't be able to make the shifts."

I roll my eyes. "I volunteer. Thomas's 1 good idea. I do the work of someone being paid, but I earn nothing." I grumble as I look out the window. My eyes widen as it hits me. "SHOOT! That is when he cheated. He must have had her over every time I stayed at the firehouse. That... That swine." I say with a ferocity I never even come close to. Eileen my head against the window in despair. At least explains why he made me changed full time instead of halftime.

I nod slowly. "Can we just go grab my stuff? I am done talking about how much of a jerk he is." I say. "I don't ever want to see him again. No, that does not give you an invitation to beat him up. I've seen how your brain works already."
