Chani sighed as she heard the knock at the door " come on in Obsidian." she said sittingon her bed " place it on the side table for me and I can do the rest"

She noticed the shyness in his voice and felt pity for him " Obsidian... I know we came fighting each other when I came.... but I... I want to apologize for hurting you if i did... I dont usually fight when im not ordered to by my king and I just had to to keep my life."

her eyes stay on him " I wont hurt you again. I promise. But do one thing for me? Keep our conversation between us, ok?" She gave her angelic smile, that drove every male crazy before straightning her lips back to neutral.

Obsidian did as she requested and put it in the side table before straightening himself up.

"I also apologize." He said even more shy, he couldn't look anyone in the eyes, let alone someone he had to fight, "I also promise to keep things between us." He said with a smile back. His was slightly more terrifying, his teeth were obviously slightly sharper, almost like a vampire. He started to head out and leave.

" I accept the apology" Chani said standing up off her bed before walkingt o slowly to him " You dont need to be shy around me, Obsidian. You are who you are." she hesitantly touched him, sending a spark before letting go " I wish I could help you phase out of that shyness. But I dont think the King would be happy with me if I did so"

She gave him another warm smile before shooing him away to leave her be til she was needed again He needs to understand that im not the enemy she thought as she eyed the food and ate some of it before sitting on the cold floor. Her eyes glazed over as if in a trance.

He swimmer but kept his lips closed and walked away silently. He walked back to his place to not upset anyone else, especially the King. He pat Amber on the head and sat next to her. Amber was more or less his only friend, it was more of a "mans best friend" kind of friendship with the two. Amber acted more like a dog anyways.

Chani seemed to never leave the room she was given. Afraid that something would go wrong and the King would find out I cant.. go on like this... I have to face my fears... with our without my own King she told herself as she got out of her room, grabbing her whistle and headed to the throne room. Her other home beside the king.

Obsidian saw her from the corner of his eye and approached her.

"Hello, you have been hiding lately." he said a bit embaressed that he was even trying to talk to her.

SHe looked up, her wings out " I know Obsidian... I just wish things were easy around here for me... I still have those feelings that the King will do something to me and I cant face my fear becasue of it. I fear him so much. But I am doing everything in my power to overcome that fear." then smiled " And you should over come your own fear of breaking your shyness towards me, even if I am small and insignificant to you deamons."

He looked away for a moment and decided to do what she said.

"Well... I guess I could tell, well, show why I'm shy..." he said, his eyes flashing between looking at her and looking away. Her had a posture that said he was shy but ocassionally it would shift to opening up.

" open yourself up, Obsidian. I wont be mad. Ever. No matter what. All want to do is help you. No matter what the King does to me" she walked to him and stood there " im probably the most open thing here as far as im concered" she whispered before giving him a little smile " Go on"
