Jax waited outside, biting his lip anxiously, he wasn't really sure about talking with Noah but still, he knew he needed to. He only realised his gaze was locked on the ground when he heard the door open and Noah grab his hand and drag him inside. Jax was still slightly disorientated and was just trying to frantically run through thoughts. He sat more upright on the bed after Noah pushed him onto there and gave him a small awkward smile although didn't really know what to say. After a few moments of silence Jax looked up from his hands and looked over at Noah, trying to study him but still had no idea what he was thinking or what to say. After it became evident that Noah wasn't going to speak Jax cleared his throat "So, uh, Millie said you were flirting with some girl yesterday?" He spoke guessing it would just be better to say it directly and get it out of the way with. It saved some awkwardness, well he hoped so anyway

Noah was nervous about this whole situation, sure he felt guilty but it wasn’t enough to make him confess so he kept his mouth shut. He sat in silence on the bed next to Jax and the question came. Noah sighed and immediately looked down at his hands and the floor. He was too scared to look Jax in the eye. He didn’t know what to respond with, he wanted to admit it but something told him to just avoid it. “Well umm..Yeah?” He muttered. His voice wasn’t stabled so he felt like Jax couldn’t hear him but that was kind of the point. Noah didn’t want to have this conversation anymore so he did what he thought best, changing the topic. He got up from the bed and stood in front of Jax. “So Millie is having a birthday party tonight and she said I could bring you as a plus one. Do you want to come?” He smiled awkwardly as he just stood there like a stone.

Jax tried to study Noah's face, obviously to no avail but he did wonder why he was being quiet. He didn't really know what to say and shuffled awkwardly as he glanced at Noah before looking back down at the floor. Jax looked around the room again, unsure what to do, obviously the question still hung in the air and he tried to hear Noah's reply, he couldn't exactly be sure but it sounded like he had admitted to it, he tilted his head expecting Noah to say more than what he had but as it became evident he wasn't Jax's brow furrowed. He listened as Noah asked him to go to a party, if he was honest he wasn't exactly sure but shrugged and nodded as he looked at Noah stood in front of him "Sure" Jax spoke in reply and tried a small smile back to him but he wasn't sure why Noah had changed the subject, if anything that just brought about more questions than he had on his mind even before asking. Jax didn't particularly want to bring it up again if Noah just wasn't going to answer and he sighed quietly.

Noah made a slight sound when he felt like the conversation was awkward. He cleared his throat when Jax gave him an answer. He looked up at him and returned the smile, “Oh thanks. I don’t have to suffer alone.” He chuckled, jokes were probably not the best thing to say right now but he wanted to get rid of the awkwardness and tension between the two. “Right so uh, it’s formal and it’s Millie’s birthday, kind of. It was a few weeks ago but she didn’t want to make a big deal about it.” He smiled as he gave Jax a long kiss before going out of the room, “Oh boy..” He muttered as he looked down. “So how was it?” He looked up and noticed that Millie was all dressed up and was crossing her arms, secretly wanting to know the drama. “Oh well I admitted it and that was the end of it.” Millie raised her eyebrow, “That’s it? You could have at least apologized to him!” Noah chuckled weirdly, he definitely forgot to apologize but he would do it when the time was right if he still remembers to do so. Like always, he changed the subject. “So, is that a new suit?” Millie nodded. She was wearing an oversized black suit with roses on the hem of the suit and dark green vines covered her suit. It looked stunning with the black velvet. The white blouse was cut in a V shape and was shaped like a turtle neck but didn’t go all the way up her neck. She also had a bit of makeup on but not too much. Just some light coverage foundation and some mascara and eyeliner. She had also just got her hair done with blond highlights and purple strings around the front of her hair. Noah’s jaw dropped as he took in the breathtaking woman in front of him. Millie caught onto what Noah was thinking. “If you wanna check me out then mine as well check Anna out too. She’ll be down in a bit.” Noah smiled as Millie walked into the kitchen to get the snacks out. Noah helped her a bit but was still caught off guard about the whole outfit thing. Sure he thought Jax looked handsome in a suit but Millie? Jason would say he was over exaggerating over Millie but still, he did think that Millie was a goddess. Soon, Anna came down, she had everything perfect as well. The two wives actually matched outfits. Millie wore a suit whereas Anna wore a dress. It was skin tight near the waist then had a few layers near the hem. It had bright red roses near the bottom and near her arms. It was sleeveless and had two very slim straps over her shoulder. The dress also had a lot of diamonds on it, the dress probably cost more than his life but it looked gorgeous. When Anna turned around and gave a spin, that’s when the cherry on top was placed. Noah noticed that the back of the dress revealed Anna’s entire back and had a rose shaped appearance. Since her hair was short, everyone could see the tattoo on her back that said “Millie” in cursive. Anna’s hair was black with curls and purple highlights although since her hair was extremely black, the purple was rarely shown unless she was in the light. “Holy shit Anna!” Noah couldn’t stop smiling as he ran up to Anna and hugged her. It was strange though, a few hours ago they were arguing but now they were lovey dovey. Anna let out a cute giggle as she wrapped her arms around Noah’s waist, a true and real hug from a friend. Some might say crush but for the sake of his life, he didn’t say that in front of Millie. “You look stunning!” Anna chuckled again while looking down, “Thanks. These heels are killing me though.” Anna raised her leg to reveal some very high black heels. Millie was wearing heels as well with diamonds on them but they weren’t as high as Anna’s. “Damn girl.” Anna smiled and looked around for Millie. “She’s in the kitchen.” “Oh right.” Anna rushed to the kitchen and saw Millie pour some chips in a bowl. She ran up to her and gave her a hug. Noah watched in jealousy but he couldn’t help but find that the two were cute.

Jax listened to Noah's and nodded with a strained smile, he wasn't sure if he felt hurt or annoyed about the whole situation and the fact it didn't exactly seem like Noah regretted it, of course he was just overthinking but still those were the thoughts running through his head. He knew he was just being awkward and probably making things awkward but Jax really couldn't help it. Jax listened to what Noah was saying and nodded "So I should probably leave to get ready then" he spoke with a small shrug, guessing that it could be nice to go to a party and tried to look forward to it somewhat. He gave Noah a small smile as he kissed him but Jax found himself not fully leaning into it, it was annoying him how he was acting and he grumbled under his breath as Noah left the room. Jax checked his phone to see a text from Damien 'How's it going?' Jax swiftly sent a reply back 'Nothing really went, he just changed the subject after admitting that he did flirt, but I'm going to Millie's birthday party later with him' Jax looked around the room again, he didn't really feel like following where Noah had gone but wasn't sure if he'd have enough time to leave and get himself ready.

Noah sat on the couch while staring at Anna while she was cooking. He couldn’t take his eyes off her and for a good reason too. He also couldn’t help but look at how the two reacted. Everytime they made eye contact, the two would kiss. Sure Noah thought it was cute but it got gross after a while so he stopped watching them. Instead he stalked the girl he was flirting with last night on Instagram. She seemed to be a nice person and he wanted to know more about her. That is until Millie snuck her way behind Noah’s back and saw he was scrolling on some hot girl's post. “Noah!” Millie snatched his phone from his hand and raised her hand high so Noah couldn’t get the phone. “What!?” He jumped up and tried getting his phone back but with Millie’s heels on, she was taller than him. “You have a boyfriend! Why are you stalking a girl's Instagram!?” Noah groaned and said, “Doesn’t everyone stalk someone's Instagram when they are interested?” Millie rolled her eyes, “Well yes but you got a boyfriend! Isn’t that enough?” Noah sighed and gave up, sitting back down on the couch. “Look, I get that you're bored with Jax but cheating on him is not the answer.” Noah sunk down into the couch dramatically, he knew Millie was right and he knew what he was doing was wrong but he couldn’t help himself. “Look, the girl is coming over tonight. Perhaps you can make small talk with her and introduce Jax but I wouldn’t take it a step farther.” Millie then threw his phone onto the couch and walked over to Anna. They both almost had everything out and now it was time to invite some guests. Noah grabbed his phone and went over to get his black boots on and left the house to go to his apartment to change. He figured Jax would go straight to Millie’s penthouse when he was ready so he just decided to meet him there. Noah brushed his teeth and made sure his teeth were nice a white for the pictures. Then of course the hardest part, choosing one outfit for the party. He didn’t want to look too formal so he just wore what closely matched Millie’s suit. He didn’t have the same suit of course but he had one with flower petals and very creative texture but still held the look of a masculine suit. He put the suit on and just barely fit in it since he had gained weight but was also muscular. He then fixed his hair, put some oils in it and fluffed it a bit before putting on his same black combat boot style with a bit of a heel to them. He then took a deep breath before grabbing his phone and keys and locked his apartment door before going to Millie’s again. This time, people were flooding the bottom floor of the penthouse. His social battery was draining but he had to stay strong. “Hey excuse me, yeah sorry excuse me.” He walked past about fifty people at least before still saying, “Sorry and pardon me”. He was going to find Millie but his eyes went straight to the girl he had flirted with last night. His body stopped in the crowd. The girl looked gorgeous, she wore a simple red, strapless, and sleeveless dress. It was tight but like Anna’s, her dress also had a bit of layers near the bottom. He made his way to the girl, “Hey.” The girl turned around and faced him. “Oh hey. You were that guy that hit on me last night, right?” Noah chuckled while nodding, “Oh yes, that was me.” He blushed in slight embarrassment and let his eyes fall down to the ground. “Well, you look very handsome tonight. You know Anna?” Noah nodded, “For sure, she’s a friend of mine on the field.” The girl smiled while innocently putting her hand on his chest, she then leaned in to whisper in his ear, “Well I guess not every man can be as handsome as you.” She then stepped back and giggled a bit. He chuckled awkwardly as he felt his face heat up. (Ok yeah, my mother is driving me crazy with the whole book thing)

Damien scanned over Jax's text with a sigh before thought of something 'I'll be at your apartment to help you choose something then' he sent already making his way to Jax's apartment, he didn't think his friend would want to be left alone to do all that anyway. Jax got Damien's text which instantly caused a smile, he knew Damien could come across as quite careless but he knew really that he cared alot. He didn't waste much longer in staying around the room and left after a few moments longer, heading back to his apartment. The walk back allowed him to free up his thoughts and he tried to switch his thoughts away from what had happened and on trying to enjoy the night with his boyfriend. It did lead to him be abit more motivated as he reached his apartment finally and as expected Damien had already arrived and set out his suit for him with an arched brow. "Thought you'd want that one" Jax laughed before nodding "Yep" It was his blue one and Damien had placed his makeup beside it. Jax narrowed his eyes slightly but on seeing that Damien took his chance "Yes, you are going to wear that, now go put a nice look together" he spoke dismissively and Jax wandered to the bathroom with a chuckle, it was true though that makeup was his favourite hobby and certainly enjoyed himself whilst creating a look. He worked, matching shades flawlessly and soon finished his look, his eyeshadow had a sunset sort of colour, a light yellow that blended into a burnt orange and added a dramatic winged eyeliner style to go with it. Jax grinned as he looked back at Damien who genuinely seemed shocked aswell as impressed and nodded approvingly "Guess I'm driving you then" Damien spoke with a small chuckle and already started heading to the car. Jax followed soon after but not before putting on a pair of cream coloured high heeled boots. Damien drove to Millie's penthouse and dropped Jax off outside "Glad I'm not going" he chuckled while Jax rolled his eyes and thanked him before heading in. The amount of people shocked him at first but he made his way through trying to look for Noah, he first saw him then moved his gaze to notice the woman standing in front of him, his eyes narrowed especially seeing how Noah seemed so flushed. The sight instantly sparked something in him and he pushed his way over to Noah, his past thoughts running through but he did try ignore them, atleast for the moment. (Oh godd)

Noah was talking to the girl, she seemed to be a flirty type but it was cute. Noah was pretty much laughing at everything she said which was a little over the top. He did go as far as putting a hand on her waist but didn't push it any further. "So Noah, tell me about your life." Noah chuckled and started off about his obsession with butter and his dog Luna. Of course there were other things he was obsessed with like his boyfriend but oddly enough, Noah didn't mention Jax to the girl. He went on about wanting to have a kid and how he, himself, was a good kid growing up. The girl seemed to be enjoying the talk, that is until she went onto the last question. "So, you got any siblings?" Noah chuckled nervously and let his eyes gaze down to the floor. "I had an older brother that I don't talk about much. He died in nine eleven." The girl sighed, clearly upset that Noah's brother died. "Well that's alright. I'm sure he was a great brother." Noah smiled and looked up, "Yeah." He then heard Jax and turned around and noticed him. His smile then got bigger. He walked over and gave him a hug instead of a kiss. He didn't think much about it. "Emma, this is Jax, my boyfriend." Noah introduced him but he felt a slight tension between the two. Noah really had nothing to worry about, Jax doesn't even know that Emma was the girl he flirted with and he wanted it to stay that way. "So um yeah." He created some awkwardness but then brushed it off. "Well nice to meet you Jax. I'm Emma, a college friend of Anna's." She smiled and drank some champagne from a fancy glass she was holding. Noah then turned around and walked the other way, leaving Jax with Emma. He then just sighed and went to find Millie. Unfortunately for him though, Millie was no where to be found so he just went back to Jax. He went up to him and kissed him while placing his hands on Jax's waist. He was a bit bored but staring at Emma helped with the boredom. He did stare at her as she went to talk to Anna and some other friends.

Jax eyes narrowed as he noticed Noah had his hand on the woman's waist and raised his brows. Usually he wasn't exactly the jealous type but something just felt odd about it that gave him a slightly uncomfortable feeling, he tried to brush it off though not wanting to create any unnecessary drama, especially as it was meant to be Millie's party. He managed a small smile as he noticed Noah and took in his whole look, he still couldn't quite believe a man like him was his boyfriend, he glanced over at the woman, Emma, that Noah had just introduced him to. Jax looked at her with slightly raised eyebrows and nodded but did acknowledge her too much trying to keep his attention on Noah. He couldn't help but wonder why it seemed that Noah was suddenly flirting with different women, maybe he was overthinking it but what he had just seen looked alot like flirting. Jax nodded again with a strained smile hearing what Emma said, not seeing any reason to reply. He looked over as he noticed Noah walk away and let his gaze drop to the floor, uninterested in starting any conversation with the girl in front. Jax was only relieved when Noah came back and smiled quickly at him, wrapping his own around around Noah. After a while he just looked at Noah realising he was looking at Emma, again his confused furrowed brow took over his features but decided against asking anything about it.

Noah of course stared at Emma for the longest time before realizing that he was staring a little too long. He shook his head to clear his thoughts. He then looked down at Jax and smiled. "You look very handsome and beautiful with that makeup." He blushed as he gave Jax a kiss before his eye caught on Millie. He broke the kiss and grabbed Jax's hand and led him to where Millie was. "Hey!" Noah waved his hand in the air, Millie turned around and she obviously looked embarrassed. "Oh hey." She smiled back and noticed Jax. "Wow Noah, Jax looks good. Perhaps better than Emma?" Noah rolled his eyes, he knew exactly what Millie was trying to do. "Yeah of course he looks better than Emma." He smiled as he kissed Jax again, it was true though. Jax looked ten times better than Emma, Noah could never deny that. He just chuckled while making small talk with Millie. Of course she already was busy so Noah didn't have her for long. (Sorry it's short. I need a distraction from the idiots in my class)
