Grey giggled, her face lighting up with the sound. "That's alright. I suppose I can't fault you too much," she replied playfully, her expression softening further as the admired the look of his face with those sweet, innocent eyes. God, it was moments like those that caused her to fall in love in the first place. Of course, their niceness could still end at any moment and the happiness would be gone, but she truly was trying to think positively. The last thing they needed was for those people to hear them arguing and fighting like mortal enemies.

Many hours went by, and Finn was starting to get agitated. He wanted to know if they were going to let them stay there. They took their weapons, and there were more of them, so he didnt know why they kept them in "jail" for so long. Finn was getting impatient, he reaked and wanted a shower, desperately. It was when the 3 hour mark hit, that the same person who brought them food came and got them. "Well see how you guys do, we have a bedroom that you guys can share." The man said, motioning them both to get up. Finn got up quickly, looking down at Grey waiting for her to get up as well. Finn swallowly thickly, trying to show no emotion but under the surface he was extremely happy. He was so grateful he was going to get to shower after all these months. Yeah, hed swim in creeks sometimes, but that water was dirt,y and he didnt have any soap. He assumed they had working water and soap, he hoped they had both.

As the hours passed, Grey was getting visibly anxious, her knee bouncing or her fingers tapping quietly against her thigh. The silence had fell between her and Finn, neither of them really knowing what to say or do, and definitely not wanting to risk a fight when their survival was at hand. Grey had nearly began to tire out when the door opened again, her head jerking up. She looked to Finn, standing up a moment after him. She was a little less secretive about her happiness and excitement, her body hopefully for a shower and rest in an *actual* bed. "Thank you. Hopefully it's not too much to ask for a shower if it's possible?" She asked, her tone a little hesitant but polite. The few people they'd seen seemed clean, at least, cleaner than they were, so she hoped that some form of cleanliness would come for them.

They were brought to an intact house not too far from the jail. It looked nice on the outside, and nice on the inside. "Can we both take a shower?" Finn asked as he stepped into the house. "Yeah but keep it short, there's towels in the hallway closet." Said the male who escorted them. "Okay, thanks." Finn replied, starting to walk upstairs. "Bedrooms to the left and the bathrooms on the right." The same male then said before setting out of the house and closing the door. The house was empty, with only them in it, it was a bit surprising that they wouldn't keep someone else with them. "I call taking a shower first." Finn said, running up the stairs. Once he found the bathroom he began stripping, leaving his clothes on the floor. He quickly turned on the water and waited for the temperature to be warm enough to hop in. Exhaling deeply, he wiped his face after standing under the shower head for a bit.

The shower simply sent Finn to heaven, it was the best thing he's ever felt in so long. Finn turned his back to the shower head and looked around for soap, surely they'd have some. He found a bar, which was good enough for him. Getting a good lather, he cleaned his whole body, along with his disgusting hair. After not being able to shower for months, it felt heavenly. Rinsing the soap out, he wrung out any water left in his hair after turning off the water. Before getting out, he looked all over the bathroom for a towel. "Shit." He mumbled under his breath, covering himself with the shower curtian. "Grey, can you get me a towel?" Finn called out, hoping she didn't crash. He chuckled at bit at himself and shook his head. He was so excited he forgot all about getting himself dry after the shower.
