Volcan heard the growling and ran over to Ember and sees the mountain packs alpha that close to her territory Volcan started to growl "i see you that close to my pack wolf and ill make sure you dont go back to it." Volcan growled before looking at Ember "glad I didn't hurt you that bad." Volcan said to Ember

Moose | Male | Forest Pack Warrior

Moose's stride is confident and sturdy as he makes his way through the lush undergrowth, snout lowered and tail raised. His eyes, brilliant against darker fur, scan the terrain for signs of prey as he picks up his pace to a well conditioned trot, spurred on by the call of birdsong in the boughs above head. The morning air was almost crisp, humidity promising the warmth that would come as the sun rose to it's highest. Moose would readily admit that it was worth the grogginess and effort to wake up early -- though, waking mid-morning and keeping watch in the early hours of the night was best.

Moose stalked through the forest for a while, enjoying his time with the good company of nobody, the waking of the forest, and all the scents and sights that came with such on his early hunting trip before he eventually came across a viable trail to follow, the scent plain and simple to him; a hare!

Tracking the rodent down, Moose came to the edge of a line of bushes, the scent trail much stronger, newer, than before. The sound of rustling came from before him, and Moose's ears trained forward, focusing on the sound. With a practiced ease, Moose crept just a paw-step farther..

The scrambling of tiny rodent feet startled Moose, and he leapt forward through the bushes, leaves and twigs snagging in his mane and the thick of his fur as he tore through. Having sorely overestimated, Moose reeled for a moment as the hare sprinted between his front legs. While not incredibly quick, especially being bulkier as he was, his accuracy was average of a couple years' training and aided him significantly as he brought his paws down upon the hare's back, then pinning and completing his kill.

With simple pleasure warming in his chest, Moose collected the hare and began his return to camp.

"Mountain wolf close to the territory." Vlocan said to Solar before turning around "but we do need to hunt not just 2 of us all of us do a larger meal would keep us feed for quite some time." Volcan said to Solar and Ember

Trackstar as returning to the Den hears Strikes digging and scratching inside and peeks in to see what's happening, (in the process bonking her head on the top of the Den) "what are you up to?" She says happily wagging her tail, "oh, just getting all the old dirt out so it's more comfortable when the Pups come." Strikes says casually, "ooh fun! ... wait... pups?!?!" Replies Trackstar as she runs out to start a howling group to congratulate Strikes and tell other packs the happy news.

She wakes as her father licks her head and she bumps his chin lightly with her nose. She stretches with a yawn before padding out of the den. He nose catches the scent of fresh prey and she bounds to the edge of the trees, tail wagging excitedly.

He sighs with a smile as he watches his daughter, sitting and tucking his tail against his paws.

Volcan followed her mate as they seached for prey after a while of tracking Volcan spotted what they was after deer a small herd but it was food now they must work together and tire out and take one down if they fail it could be a disaster

Deep in Volcano pack territory, Moonlight was hunting. She had always liked hunting, even if she wasn't assigned to it. While she was tracking a rabbit, she saw the Alphas Volcan and Solar hunting a small herd of deer. Should I join them? Moonlight thought. Since they are the alphas, maybe they're doing this hunt alone? Moonlight shook off the feeling and began to approach the two alphas making their way towards the deer herd.

Tatra | Alpha male | Mountain pack

Tatra rolled off his rock after hearing the howl from Trackstar. He walked over to investigate he almost slipped once on small pebbles and gravel. He was curious why there was howling as he'd been day dreaming once again.
