Jacob watched as his alpha got up and went over to the human girl introducing himself and explaining how him and friends and family had recently moved here. He watched the two interact for a moment from his set in the back of the room. He gave a small scowl wondering why his alpha was even interacting with the human. Nyko had usually taught all of them to steer clear of most humans, although he had to admit that there was something intriguing about the girl he was takling too but he couldn't quite figure it out.

Marinette glanced over at Kai, noticing he had jumped. She reached across the aisle, drumming her pencil across his desk.

"You always scare so easily?" She teased playfully, an eyebrow cocked and a smile stretched across her lips. She leaned back over to her own desk, casting him a curious glance awaiting his response.

"Thats a nice name Akira. We are enjoying the town. Its wondetful." Nykos calmly said, a smile spreading across his face. "Classes are nice. A bit different then what we are used to." He told her. His side started to burn and he whined in pain but tried to push the pain off.

Kai smiled tentively. "I d-dont do ch-change v-very well an-and w-when I sp-space out l-loud noises sc-scare me. But n-no I-i don't u-usually get scared at e-everyth-thing." He stumbled through the words hoping that what he said made sense.

Tapping his foot he turned andlooked over at some of his class mates. Losing interest he turned and watched the teacher but he didn't really retain anything that was being said.

Marinette chuckled, cocking her head to one side, sending her red ponytail cascading a bit farther past her shoulder. She lifted her other brow so the pair matched in hieght.

"You don't say?" She dropped her gaze and pulled a notebook out of her back, twirling her pencil between her fingers. She tossed an annoyed look at Nyko. Why was he acting so warmly towards a human? When he didn't seem to respond her she rolled her eyes, landing them on Kai.

Akira smiled to Nyko. "I am glad you are enjoying the town, and fitting in alright in the school." She noticed his whine in pain and frowned a little. "Are you alright?" She asked her eyes scanning him looking for any sign of injury but not seeing one she looked back up to his eyes.

"I'm alright. Just a small burn." He said. He noticed the teacher enter the class room. "Well it was nice meeting you. Hope to talk to you again soon."

"Hey you sh-should know wh-what its like. Y-your knew h-here too." He said. He took a deep breath and relaxed a little.

Marinette smiled warmly, softening her expression. "No, I do get it." Her amber eyes shifted over to Manu, stealing a glance at his arm. "Messed us all up in one way or another, didn't it?" She whispered to Kai. She looked back up to the front of the room where the teacher stood, then a the clock on the wall. This day was just going on forever. At least someone was talking to her now. Maybe she had found a friend? She tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear. Her ponytail was starting to lose the battle with her finely textured hair. She swore at it under her breath, it never cooperated with her.

Nyko listened as the teacher droned on about science and different things. He glanced at the clock which seemed to be moving quickly. Class was almost over an s lunch was gonna start soon.

Kai watched the teacher glancing at the clock every now and then he was actually able to pay attention for the most part. He managed to take notes and with five minutes of class remaining they were assigned a book to read.
