| ink ive heard the pased-down stories thing before, but i haven't heard the new timeline thing. i thought they were just putting them so far in the future of the other games that the legend of the hero had been forgotten, but still technically in there somewhere i think they could tie it in somehow- i mean who made the lanayru robots in ss? why not the zonai? it fits with the ss origin story, but just not quite exactly also the barbarian gear in faron woods says its from the zonai and says they're a war-like race which is odd, seeing the zonai dont seem very warlike in totk i think there's a theory on that though i just dont know it |

| I've heard they want to "start over" using the Botw and Totk as a new timeline. When they made the other games, they didn't intend to have them be related aside from small references. I've seen people say its better to look at them in a way of being oral stories passed down through the generations for each hero, which explains the inconsistent timeline |

| ink and he does get stabbed directly in the forehead so it is kind of reasonable to assume hes dead /silly (i say as oot ganon got stabbed directly in the forehead and survived) |
