༻Forest Lights༺ You walk into a forest, the last drop of sunlight fading behind you. ● The trees grow tall, hiding away the night sky and any possible light that could brighten your path. You suddenly regret not having waited until morning. ○ You tread carefully and slowly as the night covers everything with her dark cloak. The forest around you seems alive, and not in a normal way. ● Suddenly, a small, ghostly light shines far ahead of you, deeper into the woods. ○ Fear claws at your heart, and you freeze in place. What could this be? A beacon of hope? Or some unknown, lurking danger? ● The light moves hastily towards you, and your legs begin to tremble. ○ But, as you are nearly giving in to panic and turning around to run, an oddly familiar silhouette starts to take form. ● Swishing, fluffy tail, pointy ears... Sharp fangs. It's a wolf. ○ You allow yourself to relax a little, at least it's something more mundane. ● As the wolf approaches, you notice they carry an old and rusty lantern, with intricate carvings and a little light inside that seems to be made out of several flying sparks. ○ The wolf sets down their lantern and greets you cheerfully. ● "Hello, traveler! My name's Kenaz and I'm a Forest Light, which means I'll be your guide through the night path!" ○ You find their way of talking a bit odd, but not alarming in any way. It might be worth hearing what they have to say. ● "Are you seeking a safe passage through? Or a tranquil spot to rest?" ○ Kenaz seems friendly, and you decide to trust their words. ● They look at you expectantly, wagging their tail. ○ "So?
