| Purdy A lot when I was experimenting realism. Semi-realism has the issue of accidentally being uncanny with eyes being too detailed compared to everything else (like correctly drawing the corners of eyes, folds of eyelids and eye bags, imperfections of the whites of one’s eyes). Especially when the rest of the piece follows more mistakes / simpler styles |

| Purdy Symmetry is actually a great way to do this. In nature nothing is perfectly symmetrical so having something perfectly symmetrical gives it that uncanny valley vibe |
