Hello, welcome to Willow Creek. I am Zero.
I will be using this pack to simulate a semi-realistic wolf pack inspired by a realism challenge forum I saw on here [The Challenge]. I say semi-realistic and not just "realistic" because I intend on occasionally breeding my daughters to outside packs as long as the male is: greyscale, Gen 1-3, and high affinity with my pack.
In order to give my pups the best shot of being born in Early Spring, any females I am breeding will be done Fall III or Winter I. When pups are born I will be rolling a d20 to determine whether or not the pup dies. The first born of a litter will have a number rolled for their name and the subsequent pups will have a number higher than the one before them. I will do this for every litter. | When the juveniles reach 2 years old I will roll a d20 to determine whether they stay with my pack, disperse to the unknown, or are sold to a friend of mine playing with me.
I will not be purchasing any outside wolves to keep. Most, if not all, will be released for quests. The only exception would be the addition of a partner for my best, or eldest, daughter of the current Alpha Pair once she reaches 3 years old.
Every generation within this pack will be related to the Origin Alphas. They are to remain my main pair until one or both die. Should one die before the other and they're not elders, a d20 will be rolled to determine whether the wolf stays and gains a new partner, abandons the pack to the second in line, or stays and simply becomes an elder. Should the remaining alpha roll to gain a new partner, I will purchase an outside wolf (or custom one in) that is Gen 1 and within 2 years of the current remaining alpha's age.
I will be avoiding using items as much as possible, including potions, and I will be tracking the lineage of my wolves (including deceased members). As this is semi-realistic I will not be breeding for rarity or talents and those with birth defects that would affect the survival of pups will have edited rolls.
This pack is located in a national park that spans both Arizona and New Mexico, so they are not located in Yellowstone.
Any character points are appreciated but will not be paid. Thank you for stopping by.
