Hello! I'm Ed (at least that's what I usually go by online), but you can call me anything you'd prefer. I'm a transgender, non-binary individual who uses he/him and they/them pronouns. I am currently 23 years old, and I have a wonderful assistance dog named Charlie. I am also a certified professional dog trainer (ABCDT) working towards some more certifications and pursuing further education regarding animal training and behavior. I am especially invested in behavior modification and the training of assistance animals (including more uncommon species like cats and miniature horses).

I have a bit of a complex medical history and live with several chronic illnesses/disabilities that affect my daily life: I struggle with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), generalized gastrointestinal dysmotility, Erythromelalgia (EM), suspected Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), chronic migraines, focal seizures, sensory processing difficulties, some wonderful anxiety disorders, major depression, cPTSD, ADHD, Autism, and have a history of traumatic brain injury (among some other health complications, many of which are still being investigated).
Also, just in case you didn't catch it, "wonderful" was meant to be read in a very sarcastic tone. :')

Charlie assists me with my disabilities and helps to keep me safe in my everyday life. He is able to bring me important things I need, alert & respond to psych & medical episodes to help me stay safe, interrupt dangerous behaviors, and assist me with my mobility among other things. He is my personal mascot, so you can always expect to see more of him from me.
