| I use AI to vent and when I'm feeling off, not because I'd rather talk to a robot than a stranger, but because licensed therapists are expensive and I've had an extremely bad experience with one. It's definitely not the best solution, but it's a good one if you need to vent. |

| Sun I 100% agree with that. There are thousands of better places for resources to be spent. But I also don't think that not using a tool because it's development wasn't philanthropic is necessarily good either. If those resources are already spent, why not derive what ever good we can from them? |

| One of the things that concerns me about LLMs is people who use it in place of talking to people. It doesn't KNOW anything, it's a fancy autocomplete that may end up leading you down some insane paths given enough time. It doesn't know what a lie is or what truth is or what magical thinking is - it's just gonna put whatever word is statistically most likely to not get it flagged as "working incorrectly". |

| We definitely don't need 1,000 different models of vacuums. They all do the same thing. I'd show full support if they'd spend it on something more useful like life saving medical research. None of this bringing extinct animals back to life bullshit. |

| MainStPack, I only care about CL too because of the same reason and for customs, but since their offspring will be higher gen and less value, I might keep for personal breeding just to get more cool pups |

| Yeah cleaning robots I guess are convenient, we had one. But the model we got broke cuz of all the dog hair and it can't get high places. |

| I don't know why we can't just use those millions of dollars that go into AI creating and engineer places can't go to the kids in schools who can't afford lunch or charities. Like cure for cancer should be more important than the next robot for foot massages :p But I suppose ideas for writing is good, but most of it isn't original. |
