Badger was a lone wolf who had escaped from a lab. When wandering, he met Silver, who had been kicked out of her pack for refusing to marry the Alpha's son. They agreed to wander togther for awhile, while keeping each other safe. Soon, their feeling grew fro each other and they became mates. They settled down away from other packs and formed the pack of Lost Night, after the night they met each other.

After a little while, they had ther first litter. Three pups. Unfortunetly only two pups lived through the night. And only one lived to adulthood. Little Granite, Badger's pride and joy. Badger hopes to see Granite follow in his pawsteps and become Alpha Male.

Later on, the small pack was blessed with another litter. But there was only one pup. Badger named him Slate and promised Slate would grow up to be strong and mighty, just like him.

Then, they had Quartz. In truth, Silver didn't want Quartz. She wanted a female pup but she got another male. But Granite and Slate loved their little brother and Badger was glad to have another son.
