I used to go to a good church, and actually lived right next door. However, my grandmother would threaten to drag me over when I lied and would actually start pulling me out the door if I didn't confess so that "God could listen to my lies and punish me". I would always 'admit' to whatever she thought I did even though usually it was something she made up :/ I haven't been religious since lol

Krampus, America. Looking to move, of course. Caesar, True, man. I loved going to church so much as a kid I would beg my mom to take me, and I was so interested in all of it I went to countless different sects. Then I got old enough to actually attend adult lectures and I realized very quick people are insane. "All babies are born evil." "If you die without knowing God, you're going to hell." They got so mad at me when my 11 year old self got up and left in the middle of the sermons. I never looked back.

Cae yeahhh they were in a bad situation. Their sister still live with them, but she's doing fine. They leave her alone but hated my partner (they're queer and they hate that) Cae My mom was trying to hold off on me paying rent because I'm in college, but we both make minimum wage so I pay 100$ a month to my stepdad for rent. It's cheaper than getting my own place so honestly it's the best case scenario. When we lived with my grandparents, they made me pay 50$ a week (200 a month) for rent as soon as I turned 18

brave, it largely depends on people, but i do not think family should charge rent :') again, im from a VERY different culture, obviously, and we put a lot of emphasis on family bonds. living together means we all contribute, but theres no demand for anything. paid rent money saved for family future? nah, you save it now in case you need it later ^^"

BuggyOs, BROTHER THAT'S INSANE. What??? Glad they got some compensation for that level of audacity. Caesar, Yes, it seems the entire world needs to be lit on fire and remade. Insanely out of touch figureheads.

Florence I don't think spreading intense negativity and stereotypes about a specific people or religious group like that is what Wolfplay chat was intended for

Cae - for my family if I paid my family for rent it is saved in the future. My in-laws should charge their children rent (my partner included) because there’s 8 people (2 minors who shouldn’t pay lol) living in a 3 bedroom house.

Cae I just started paying rent last year, at age 20. My partner and I pay a collective 200 to my parents to help them cover apartment rent and groceries for us all since prices keep going up. But we are all legal adults and we only pay because they can't afford it otherwise.

Ceasar, American culture is people caring more about animals than children, or if they care for neither, they're a "hard-working, god-fearing christian." lmao

flo, the government actually gave people the advice to fight the inflation when we first started using euro, and it was either everything people have already been doing for 30 years, or the most out of pocket thing ever. telling 85+ year olds to go from one store to the other to compare prices and buy where its 2 cents cheaper? revolution.
