Polargeist Lilja is such a beautiful name and it sounds like she was so deeply loved. I’m really sorry you had to go through such a painful experience, especially with how she passed—that kind of thing sticks with you. I know it’s easy to carry around that “what if,” but from everything you’ve said, it’s clear you gave her a life full of love and care. I'm really glad to hear you're doing a bit better now, even if it’s still hard sometimes. That kind of grief mixed with already struggling mentally is just… a lot. If you ever feel like talking about her more, or just want to share memories or pictures, I’d honestly love to listen :) |

Xylo - Her name was Lilja, lily in Swedish c: She lived to be quite old for breed standards so I got to have her for quite long,, however the way she went was pretty traumatizing for me. I also live with the fact that if we'd have brought her to the vet earlier she might have lived but that's another thing. She was getting old anyways </3 It is, it is. I'm doing a bit better now, but it did take a huge toll on my mental health that was already kind of shit ueueue |

Polargeist Awww she's adorable and beautiful, what was her name if you don't mind me asking? It's a very difficult —I don’t want to use the word “fact,” but I’m not sure what word to use...... to process...its like it's still a big shock if that makes sense Oh no, not the neighbor’s cat too, that’s so sad ðŸ˜ðŸ˜And with everything else happening at the time, I can only imagine how heavy that must’ve felt... losing pets is already heartbreaking that’s a lot to carry I’m really sorry They really leave a mark on us </3 |

@Sky Not your fault. People will overall experience a decrease in their immune function due to multiple infections of COVID. I got sick maybe once a year but after covid I haven't gone three months without getting sick. |

Xylo - Here's some pics of my bunny -Click- It really is :c it's been two years and I don't think I've quite processed it yet. It wasn't long before she died that my neighbour's cat whom I was also very close with died, along with a whole pandemic. So not a very good few years </3 |

Avatar lineart by Witheryn on DA Species info also made by Witheryn on DA . . SUNCHASER DRAGONS( SOLIS-PRESSOR DRACO )KINGDOM:Animalia CLASS:mammalia HABITAT:Mountain Caves, high ledges, beach caverns DIET:Omnivore, Birds, shellfish, large insects, tree bark, plant fiber BIO:Sunchasers are known to be a myth. These legendary dragons are similar to lung dragons, the shorter body allows them to slip into crevices more easily. They reside in mountain caves and are fabled to control the weather. Named "Sunchaser" dragons for "following the light" of the sun in lore. These are cold blooded creatures that require heat, so they seek as much light as possible; their whiskers act as a solar panel, so they are often out basking to keep warm. Fabled to be extinct due to the hunting trade for their whiskers and "lucky" claws, they have migrated into caverns where little heat is produced, this forces them out, leaving them vulnerable; though, they have learned to map where dangerous creatures reside and are excellent hiders. They have flourished under the circumstances, and have passed down vital information through generations. Their Highly feline body allows nimble movement and agility when it comes to hunting. Casually sharpening claws on rocks and trunks of fallen trees, the thick underbrush and hidden dens are sanctuaries to them. Peace, quiet and independence rules a large part of their lives, yet the thrill of hunting, or a good play fight will satisfy them just the same. While they have a rather stoic , majestic look on the outside, these fur-balls can be just as cute and spontaneous as any lazy house cat, but with the power of, well, a dragon. ![]() 0 Comments |
