You sit by a river, feeling at peace. Its not always that you can get rest
You take a few sips and you sit up to trot along the forest like you are a pup again!
It doesnt take long for you to slow down and look at the forest as the sun shines down onto your fur and its warmth to cover you. You see a wolf in the distance and began calling out to them
"Follow me young wolf..." Said the wolf, their voice sounding rather powerful.
In awe, you ask yourself if you should follow the strange wolf...Your curiousity overpowers you and you follow after the wolf
"My name is Night, dear..." The wolf spoke up, her voice smooth and soft like honey. She was a slightly dark grey wolf that was slightly bigger than you and she seemed to be an elder
You started asking questions: Why was she alone? Doesnt she have pups? What is she doing here
Night softly laughed, nuzzling you for a moment "Sweetie sweetie sweetie...Calm down..." She continued forward as you slowed down a bit, looking a the ground
There were no paw prints where she was walking. Shocked, your eyes widened and you check your paws who were muddy "Wait...Are you alive..?" you sound a bit fearful but sad for the elder she-wolf
"Unfortunatly not..." Night sighed "However, keep following me dear...I wanna bring you somewhere..." She softly smiled waiting for you to catch up to her
You trot a bit quicker as to not lose her "How did you die..?" you ask
"I died when the pack was at its lowest..." Night began "The pack lost a lot of food because it was rotting...The springs and rivers around us were drying...I died because i tried to feed the pack with my love, Thunder....But it was too late.."
You feel a bit of sadness for the elder and nod along to her stories
"The only one left out of my generation was a young pup named Lucky...I wonder if he is okay..." Night hung her head low as they approached what seemed to be a pack of wolves
"What is that?" You ask, curious
Night smiled a bit "That is the second generation..." she stopped as you trot forward in excitment
You look back and saw Night fading as she said "Welcome...To pack Sunlight" and she faded away, leaving you to see the pack
