Library cards are also usually free, or cost very little! And they usually are connected to apps for digital/audiobooks :) |

Also listening to audiobooks and youtube can help a lot. You should try undersparked, or rslash, or if you like crime I can see who I'm subscribed to. |

It's something very very very calming. I do the diamond dotz too, but those take me less time and cost a little more. |

I know you said you're super broke, but if you have $20-$30, you can go to Michaels, and get a paint by number, and a set of brushes. The paint by numbers big ones are $15 and the brushes are $9 and if you buy them in 2 transactions there is almost always a 10%-30% off coupon on their website. Make sure you use it on the painting first as its a higher cost. My local store will let me use it twice but I also go in there quite frequently. |

Urux, of course, I'm glad to see that design won! :D Bug, I also feel bad for long messages when other convos are happening xD |
ConjuringCassiopeia |
Bug, y'know that's a good idea, I'll try it :'D Journaling sounds interesting, I do like to be creative sometimes so that could be good for me? It's been hard to draw the past few years so maybe journaling could be better for me instead. Thanks again, Bug! :') |

I only feel bad for the long messages when there's a lot of convos happening. I feel bad when the shorter messages fall off lmao |

Cass, thank you! I did a poll to see which design people liked for him a while back ^^ |

Cassie no problem! And if it's words in music, listen to like, classical or Minecraft music while doing other things lol As for journaling, how much it helps depends on what you do with it. Some people find it nice just writing about their day, others like the work of making it look nice. If you would like a project, look up bullet journaling. It can be as complex or simple as you want. You can put in time, weather, and other statistics such as last watched show or something, and it becomes a habit you can look forward to. Or you can just use it to get things off your chest, understanding emotions more as you write down and reread it. |

You guys don't have to apologise for the long messages. It's a chatbox, chat away :) |

Bug, I think it's okay, nobody is really online now anyway :'D |

Bug, honestly I also believe it to be something with the moon and stars :') Thank you! I had to drop out initially due to health complications, and I was anxious to go back until I just... I don't know, did it? :'D I'm happy to hear you're medicated! I hope to be one day, too. It's tough just doing things "naturally" with nothing to help >.> My anxiety is awful and I really hope I'm able to figure something out one day. I've actually thought of journaling recently but I wasn't sure how much it would help. Maybe I'll do that. Music kinda makes me think too much so that one is tough to use ;-; I pick at every little thing that even slightly reminds me of my situation. Reading might be good too, but I have yet to find something I'd be interested in keeping up with book-wise. Thank you so much for your suggestions! |

Cassie My mom believes it has to do with the moon and stars, which I believe that full moons definitely effect peoples behaviors. Congrats on going back to college! I love school, but I know it takes strength to get back into it, especially being gone for so long. Even if you do drop out, it was still a good step attempting, but you will feel so much better having finished a semester. Being broke sucks. I'm happy I have the money now to be medicated, and thats only because my girlfriend helps me out when I need it. My mom encouraged it too, especially since the medication my doctor recommended also helps with PMS, so I'm not getting too angry and throwing things anymore. And those are pretty good coping skills. It sucks not being able to see friends often. Other than my girlfriend I have 2 friends I don't see much. You can maybe add in music, reading, and art to your list if you like those things. Journaling can also help, you just have to be consistent |
