Lily was born to a mom and a crazy male cat who about a week or two after her mother gave birth took her, her mom and her brother Speck away from the clan, he brought them into the forest a long way away from everyone else where he attacked their mother. As Lily listened to the screaming of her brother and her mom, her brother started to shake and sob violently as Lily heard her calling her name, she tried to find her but after she heard her mom go silent she was grabbed aggressively by the scruff and thrown down into the river nearby. She yelped and whined when she was pushed in the water, she was barely old enough to run around and play, let alone swim, Lily was held underwater where she clawed weakly to her fathers paw, trying to get away, she coughed and inhaled water before she was let go and she got caught in a current going downstream.
Lily fought hard, she was pushed around underwater and only sometimes was thrown to the surface for a split second of air before being pulled back down into the current, it was a difficult battle for her life, though she was so young she became too exhausted to continue after minutes of wrestling the water to get out. Eventually she went limp and allowed herself to be shoved around, she was thrust hard into a rock and started bleeding from her forehead, then she passed out. She was very barely conscious when she felt someones teeth bite down on her collar and lift her above the water, she opened her eyes feebly as if that would help her see who's carrying her. She still felt the water on her tail until the one that helped her touched solid ground, she was laid down gently and a soft voice spoke to her. "Are you okay little one?" She was asked, Lily sputtered and coughed up water.
She breathed a long breath of air and laid her head down on the ground, she was nudged with a nose and then picked up gently and carried away from the river. It was later told to her that she was saved by a light yellow cat named Sunny, she was walking along the waterbank one day and saw a kitten washing downriver, she stopped and then ran back along the ground past Lily and jumped in the water, once she found her she bite down on her neck in a safe spot tightly and lifted her head and mouth above the water and though it was difficult, successfully swam back to shore and put her down. After that Lily stayed with Sunny and traveled with her for two years before they came upon a large group of cats, they were grabbed at first but then Lily was recognized by her long lost brother SpeckleClaw and his now adoptive mother Amber who was told all about the event that occurred, she was reunited with her brother and joined into the clan of felines.
