I misunderstood. No, once you leave the level it doesn't save your restarted progress.

Yes. When you go to explore it gives you the option to replay any level you've already completed from scratch. It still saves your highest level progress.

is there a way to restart the map & level to continue from the restarted level?
I hope that question makes sense. Like, I keep replaying level 1 forest constantly just to get kills, but when I go to continue when my moves run out, level one is back to being completed and I go and restart the map AGAIN to just keep rinse and repeating over and over. I'd like for there to be a way if there isn't already to get BE for beginner wolves and just keep replaying the same level 1-10 or however it's broken down.
