I usually put mush away in my hole at 10000, and rarely spend more than 50+ mush at a time if I need something. I explore pretty regularly and getting on leaderboards for hunting and ancestors during FMC is always a great way to get more. Despite having quite a bit, my budget is kept pretty tight though.
