I'm not sure which is more important in the overall game, but you want pups with Exc Wrestling for the Full Moon game, and wolves with Exc Howl for that FMC game (FMC is 5th to 9th each month if I remember right)

they're all good for different purposes ^^ disposition is for making wolves go after a certain target in explore; if their disposition is disobedient they will not follow orders.
howling and wrestling are both for the FMC (full moon competition). they aren't important unless you participate in that.
