Oh no! I've never had a horse spook that bad on me, came close when I was training one though. Bless her heart she was such a spoiled brat though. I'm trying to think of how tall Eli was when I fell off of him, maybe 16hh? So not that bad, sweet guy came back to check on me too. I think that was the nicest I'd ever seen that horse

Oh, that sounds horrible! I could never ride without stirrups OR bareback. I've never fallen off a horse, but gotten close; I was riding an 18-hand horse (his name was Titan, fittingly, an absolute sweetheart) who spooked and started to canter. I held on to the reins so tight, my heart was racing when my friend managed to catch up and stop him.
