When I was in high school I had to ride a bus for a time with a bunch of gradeschool (elementary) kids on it and I swear, every. Single. One. Of those kids had a phone. Some had an iPad some brought a Nintendo switch to school. No joke. It was not like that when I was in gradeschool.

Genuinely saw a parent bring their toddlers onto the bus, both had ipads, both didn't even look up as they stepped onto the bus. They didn't look away for the entire bus ride. It was kinda terrifying.
