A looot of therapists who offer online sessions will be parts of groups and have certain accreditations. Most of these groups will have a list of their members!
In the UK there's the BACP [British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy] and they have a list of accredited therapists which is pretty extensive :]

Many therapists have a free uh,, what's it called,, consultation? And you can see if the vibes check out.
