Wolf Play - Online Wolf Game!

I'm looking at starting on some custom gear designs, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for blending into the wolfplay style. Anything like recommended brushes/sizes, palettes, filters or effects? I want my customs to fit with the overall game art style. :P
