It's utter insanity :,) People are using AI to write their social media and marketing, students are using it to write their papers and cheat on homework, I have a coworker that uses it to make up stories. Not to mention the bad medical advice x.x It's just wild how much it's taken hold. I'm hoping the whole craze is shooting up so fast that it will crash just as hard

You are not old-fashioned at all to want to see less AI. I am so annoyed to see AI everywhere, and even have to find myself wondering if it is AI. I didn't think I'd miss the time of instead thinking "is this edited? Is this CGI?" cause at least that had more soul and character than AI

Plus you have the thing of continued inbreeding within AI databases, eventually, and very soon, it will reach a level of absurdity that people will have to write their own stuff because the ai's is so crap

I'm also a purist on that stance too. I want to own art made by actual artists, not someone writing a prompt for a company to slap "art" on a pillow and call it a day. No good energy, no art at all :(
