If Yogi wants to meet a dog, he'll let me know he's ready to meet a dog.
And when that happens I have him close, tight leash, so I can pick him up (he's a terrier) or pull him away if the other dog gets too sniffy or he seems uncomfortable.

We've had some bad experiences with neighbour's dogs (medium to large breeds) getting out and rushing him too, so it's hard.

I will have to go out to sea for i think 2 weeks in March buut I should get to skip out on when the ship goes out for all of June and July

Yeah I was trying to get a spoon from the floor and the dog tried to bite me and I jumped back and it attacked me so it took me a while to get used to dogs after that ^^" little did I know that dogs would ease my anxiety after that lol

I'd be biased too. My sister is biased for the same reason. I forgot how long it took her to be okay around the pups when she first met them. She had been traumatized by a bunch of idiots who let their dogs chase her and nearly ripped her jeans.
