Basically what I had in mind was a castle full of wolves part of a cult/kingdom/thingie and it's based off of how much purple you have in your fur. It comes from a legacy of pure purple wolves that are said to be closer to (insert whatever wolf god they worship) and there's only one pure purple wolf who leads at a time. They must be biological females and have a pure purple coat. The ruler's siblings (assumed to be mostly purple with small bits of other colors) are called duchesses and are the second closest to (deity worshiped). Biological male siblings of the queen are killed or cast out, but ones that were born female can stay. Wolves that have a lot of purple markings or are mostly purple but aren't part of the royal family are servants to the queen and duchesses. Finally, wolves that have minimal or no purple and aren't part of the royal family are "students." They get taught about the queen and (deity name here) and live in the castle.

The castle is a giant purple castle. Think Hogwarts from Harry Potter for the exterior, and something like Hyakkaou Private Academy from Kakegurui would be similar to the interior. The wolves all live there.

Queen Azalea - I haven't drawn her yet, but she is the current queen. She's a deep purple wolf who wears a spiky cape and the symbol of the unnamed deity. She's a rude and selfish wolf, but presents herself as kindly quiet to those outside of the royal family.

Marley and Will - Two of Somber's friends that are students! Marley doesn't believe in the deity and Will is very committed and religious, but they both want to help Somber escape. They haven't been drawn yet. I also have the concept that maybe Will likes birds- I don't know lmao. Marley is very outgoing and loud, Will is rude and quiet.
