As he slowly made his way through the deep snow, exhausted, freezing, hungry and hurt, Grit could still feel the bites of his fellow pack members...pain and shame filled his heart. The voice of his former alpha rang in his ears "You incompetent, weak, poor excuse for a wolf!! How dare you speak against me?!?" Grit remebered all his courage leaving him... he remembered the bloodthirsty eyes of the other wolves... All he did was challenge his alpha's decision of killing a lone she-wolf and her pup in cold blood while they were cowering in fear and begging for mercy. What an idiot! What did he think would happen? He, a low ranking hunter, challenging the alpha..? But he couldn't just stand there and do nothing... he had to act.
And for what?... the she-wolf and her pup died anyway and he was banished from his pack, alone and hurt, left to die in the harsh winter.
Grit stoped, suddenly pulled from his memories, the scent of danger was in the air, the scent of another wolf. Too weak to hide Grit just stood there trying to see where the scent was coming from. When he finally sensed something moving behind him it was too late, a strong blow knocked him off his paws... he felt something heavy pin him down in the cold snow, above him he could vaguely distinguish a tall dark figure... and then nothing but darkness.
Charcoal and Sunset took the injured wolf back to their den and nursed him back to health, as he became stronger he began to help on hunts and slowly but surely earned the young pair's trust. He was offered the rank of beta and he remained in the BlueHowl pack.

Grit is a brave wolf with high morals, loyal to the alphas who saved his life, showed him kindness and offered him a place in their pack. He obeys Charcoal's commands, though not blindly, and looks up to his alpha. Altough not used to leading, Grit does his best to be a good beta male in the small but growing pack.
Preferences
Grit loves going hunting and providing for his new found pack. He also enjoys talking with Charcoal and exploring alongside him.
Special Skills
He is skilled in battle and you can always count on him in a fight.
