Why is her name Bostonia...?
In the week before this fabulous girl was born into my pack, I was pretty down in the dumps. My grades were slipping, I was often getting into arguments with my parents, a rumor was being spread about me, I forced myself to break up with my boyfriend, and I was just in this depression I couldn't seem to get out of.
That was, until, I remembered Boston. My dad was going to visit some family friends up there for Memorial Day weekend and wanted me to tag along. I didn't really want to do anything, but I wanted to be in a better relationship with my parents so I agreed.
...I ended up having the time of my life. We (my dad, his friends, and I) spent the next couple of days exploring the city...aquarium, USS Constitution, the Freedom Trail, a ghosts and graveyards tour, etc. Not to mention the good food...I'd kill for another bowl of that clam chowder. And as we made the drive back home on Monday, we made a stop in New Jersey...to Six Flags. It was called for rain that day, but the rain never came. And because of that, there were hardly any lines. Ended up riding the Kingda Ka more times than I can remember. But anyways, I went to bed each of those nights feeling pretty good, like nothing was wrong.
This wolf was born the day before we left for Boston, but I never noticed her rarity until we got back, as I wasn't on WP as much. She's the first 40R that I've ever had. And it basically got me thinking about life and stuff. That, no matter how bad things get, there's always a glimmer of hope. And if you can find that glimmer and catch on to it, being happy and content is possible. For me, that glimmer came in the form of a great weekend in Boston.
And that's why I named her Bostonia. c:
