Noisa Fisla (Noy-suh fee-sluh) meaning 'Night Snow' in ancient wolf.
Noisa Fisla followed Koainernan as he climbed the towering boulder. "Wolves of Koa Pack! I have delayed this long enough and I hope everyone here agrees to my choice. My mate will be Noisa Fisla! I sincerely hope you show her the same respect and obedience as you showed my mother," he called out and smiled when the wolves below cheered in happiness.
She took a deep breath before walking up to the pitch black female at the edge of the rock. The two females nosed each other and then Noisa licked the top of the younger female's head in acceptance. Noisa Fisla let go of the breath and padded up to her mate while the black female climbed down.
"I will try my best to serve this pack and to preserve the memory of all second alphas before me," she barked clearly and yet nervously. What if they didn't accept her as their Alpha? After all, she was the daughter of an exiled wolf and a loner.
After the ceremony, an old white female approached her. At first she wanted to duck her head in submission to the old alpha, but the white wolf shook her head. "You will be a great alpha, Noisa Fisla," Koaminra woofed softly and nudged her.
"I hope so," she replied with her head slightly lowered.
Koaminra pushed her head up and looked into her eyes. "I know you will be. Even if your father wasn't the best wolf, you can be better than him."
