Biography
The earth-colored male raced across the valley, the snow crunching under his paws. His eyes were wide in sheer apprehension. The beast was coming. It was coming for him.
Oh god...what did I do to deserve this?
Juventus had abruptly leaped to his left, taking shelter in a massive cave. He glanced over his shoulder. Perhaps he was safe now, in the cave of black. He could hear water dripping in the darkness ahead, and he slowly walked forward. His heavy panting could be heard, slowly diminishing as he caught his breath.
"Everyone is...gone," he muttered under his breath. "Everyone I knew." His voice was soft, and he could feel his heterochromatic eyes grow misty. He'd worked so hard to survive, and now it led to this. Being hunted. Being...gah, what was it called?
He thinks he's purifying the population. I guess that includes eliminating me. But what he done wrong? He wasn't a sinner, he was innocent.
Everyone sins.
Juventus was covered in the black blanket, every inch of his pelt on end. Never before had he been so afraid. It was truly a horrible feeling. Everyone had fears, but this...this was just torture now.
"You will be in a better world."
The male whipped around, eyes narrowed. Was he here?
He could feel a collection of metal claws snagging at this throat. Juventus coughed. He was being...choked. And in the midst of the darkness, he could see crimson eyes blazing with the true fires of Hell. If it were bright enough, he would see the demon's true appearance...and it wasn't pretty.
"P-Please..."
"You were greedy, Juventus," the demonic wolf sneered. "You wanted to cheat death and age, didn't you? Looking for infinite youth? Pathetic little bastard. Look into my eyes, knave...see your new home..."
"No!"
Juventus struggled to breathe now. Before he knew it, he was on the floor of the cave, the other brute standing on top of him.
"If you wanted to live forever you would've begged for reincarnation. Not just look for a way out of aging like a cheat. Look at me... I don't beg, and I've come back...four times, Juventus!" The male leaned in closer.
"Take these words back to Hell...Quaesitor non moritur. Grando autem custos ex aquis."
Juventus had already stopped breathing. One of his claws was missing, and a new claw was on the demon's terrifying necklace.

Some time later, two wolves had come to take shelter in the same cave. They would find a skeleton of a male, only his head untouched. A claw missing. They'd shake their head at Juventus' corpse. They knew what had happened; they had the same thought.
