Biography
Born into a fairly normal pack with a mom, dad, siblings, and older siblings and uncles to care for him, one would expect Chiron to be a fairly normal wolf. You'd find yourself quite mistaken. From his earliest puphood, Chiron was not interested in crushing the butterflies his brothers and sisters chased, but in observing, trying to understand what they'd do next. Fascinated by anything to be learned, Chiron tried new hunting tactics whenever possible during his earliest lessons. Most failed terrifically, leading to much mockery from his siblings. Nevertheless, he managed to find himself working fairly well on his own hunting smaller game, and, being much more interested in observing before chasing down his prey to decide his easier catch, he decided it best to strike out on his own rather than have to deal with those idiots. No less than three moons on his own, Chiron found his nightly stargazing interrupted by another, ancient wolf, going by the name Ouroboros. The aging wolf sensed something in Chiron, and took him under his wing, teaching him as much arcane knowledge as possible until his death thirteen moons later. Chiron proved a difficult student, not for any lack of capacity, but for his tricky, dangerous personality. The two got along well in spite of this, Ouroboros even catching Chiron off guard on occasion. After another twelve moons' passing, he found himself not only surviving, but thriving, hunting down all kinds of magical lore. At this time, he found a lone female, Leafy, who he agreed to take in as an apprentice of his own. He's grown quite fond of her as a mate as well, but can be a bit too focused on his intellectual pursuits and tends to patronize her as an apprentice.

Chiron is a knowledge hunter to the utmost. Named for the 'centaur asteroid' known in astrology as the 'tester', Chiron, the name suits this wolf, who is fascinated by the will of others, to the point of putting even those of his own pack in situations where they are at risk to test their will. Naturally they're in no real danger, as he'll come to their rescue if need be... I hope. He's a bit socially inept, after spending most of his life as a lone wolf voluntarily. Those unused to his odd temperament and mannerisms may find him alienating, even somewhat terrifying. Underneath the oddities and quirks is an intelligent, curious, and even caring wolf. Just don't turn your tail to him without knowing what you're getting yourself into...
