His gold eyes glowed a blue glow, he remembered the medicine wolf, "This pup, it holds the spirit of a panther, the cunning of a fox, the fangs of a lion, the flight of a crow." The white legged female bowed her head to the pup, holding the necklace by her muzzle, letting it drop down around the pup's head. His eyes glowed with honor, the new amulet glowed the same blue. The wolf lifted her head, softly murmuring, "Welcome to Stormclan, as a Deity wolf. You are now the guardian of Water, you will hold the Frost of Water amulet." He was honored, but that is now, he still remembered what the alpha said.
Snowstar, the retired alpha glared at he pup, his own eyes glowing orange. He snarled, "NO ONE CAN TAKE OVER MY ROLE AS THE ONLY SPIRITAL WOLF!!! NO ONE! I AM THE ONLY DEITY WOLF IN THIS PACK!" His fang necklace swung around wildly, the Amber of Fire amulet glowing along with his boiling anger. The dark colored pup stirred in his sleep, whimpering. Snowstar glared and continued bellowing, "THIS WOLF WILL NOT BE ALPHA. HE WILL NOT. I WAS THE LEADER, BUT I COMMAND THAT THIS WOLF TO NOT STEP A SINGLE STEP TO ALPHA." Windwing whimpered, "Y-y-yes, Alpha." Snowstar stomped out of the den, leaving the mother and the pup shivering in the nursery, the alpha female rigid with shock.
Silverstar whispered to him, "Someday, just like Snowstar, you must choose your successor, choose carefully...." Panther looked at the female, "But... I am not the wise leader, I have no knowledge..." Silverstar ignored him, "Choose wisely, you have wisdom."
