Biography
A dark figure moved swiftly through the bushes, closing in on its prey. The rabbit lifted its small head and peered at the spot the dark figure had once been. Taking a cautious step forward, the rabbit looked into the foliage once again. The rabbit didn't even see it coming. A swift jerk of the head had killed the rabbit, and its killer remained quiet as he carried the rabbit to his hallowed out tree. He dropped his kill and began to devour it hungrily, completely becoming lost in the taste of rabbit.
"There is a wolf nearby." A stray feminine voice barked out. His body became electrified as he lowered his head and emitted a savage snarl. The ebony wolf in front of the opening of the hallow became still as she looked into the hallow. "It's but a pup." She called out to her companion. Her companion, a red male, stood beside her and looked into the hallow. "I'll be." His baritone voice echoed in the hallow.
"Stay away from me." Came the threatening response from the darker than night pup. His haunches raised and body in a defensive stance, he emitted another growl. "I don't want to harm you." Blood ran down his muzzle and onto the ground.
The female's emerald eyes studied the pup before she spoke. "We can help you, and give you pack to call family and a place to call home. I speak the truth, I am Meredith and this is Zack." She placed her head on her paws and smiled at the pup. "I only wish you would join us, you'd be happier there than here."
The pup pondered over her offer for several moments. "I have no name, no mother, no father." His voice came out steady and somber. "I cannot." He eyed them before he sat down and swiped his paw out at them.
Meredith gave him a soft, reasuring smile. "Then I shall give you a name, and I your mother. You will be Alec." She leaned forward and pressed her nose against his. He gave a soft sigh and leaned against her. "Thank you."
