Biography
Salia Ansadow (Say-lee-yuh An-sah-doe) meaning 'Wandering Shadow' in ancient wolf.
"Ja arisca zaci ki sarrshi."

Ansadow looked around the camp cautiously. She didn't know what would happen if she were caught, but she did know that it wouldn't be good. Summer months were one of the most dangerous with nighttime creatures being very active. A lone two year old wolf like herself could get into big trouble with a fox or a large cat. Ansadow heard something just before she was through the hole.
"Where are you going?" A soft voice called from behind her. How could she have expected to get past her mother? She seemed to hear everything.
"I..um..." Ansadow stammered as she sat down and shuffled her paws anxiously.
Her mother tilted her head thoughtfully and sat down. "You feel the urge of a Seer." Ansadow blinked in surprise and nodded to the Alpha female. "I can't stop you then. Be careful and promise to come back one day," her mother whined softly and nuzzled her, her yellow eyes full of sadness and longing even though her pup was right in front of her.
"I will," she promised and ducked through the hole in the stone wall. It felt peaceful in the forest. Peaceful, quiet, and full of life. The creatures of the night didn't seem to want to bother her. Near a burrow she had seen a fox, but it quickly went back into the bushes and vanished. Maybe it was her pitch black pelt that scared them away? Or maybe they knew her power and knew she wasn't a threat to them? Whatever it was that restrained them from attacking, she hoped it wasn't something bigger stalking her or just a coincidence.
After a while, she could see the rocky slopes of the mountains and the trees started to thin out. All her life she had dreamed or seeing the other side, now she would go there. Her power helped her find safe routs as she climbed the steep slopes, but when she had made it to the top, her paw pads still ached. Even though there were more hills and mountains to climb and go through and she felt like her paws were going to melt away, she still felt as excited and nervous about the journey before her as she did when she was planning it. Who wouldn't? After all, she was going to the land beyond the mountains!
