Biography "I speak truth, not so much as I would, but as much as I dare; and I dare a little more, as I grown older." Aisling was born extremely small, almost too small to seem worth caring for. Her mother thought she would die, that she was weak. They did not realize how strong she was within. Normally the midwife would have disposed of such a pup but many say it was her beautiful pelt that spared her. The midwife simply could not carry out her duty. So she decided to raise Aisling until she could fend for herself. When she was older she attracted several suitors but took only one because she was forced to. Her visions interfered with her daily life. She was always somewhere else inside her head. So Aisling moved from pack to pack. While residing in a small one not so far from the grand Kingdom Of Living she went out into the forest. She paused on an outcrop, and spotted three rabbits. Instead of taking chase she stayed watching them, contemplating life. Queen Iseult happened upon her and was interested in her actions. The Queen struck up conversation with her and was so intrigued by her visions and her past that she desired her to return with her. The King Yngvar and Queen Iseult desired her to be Priestess, and Aisling felt her calling. Aisling swore a vow to serve them for the remainder of her life however she could. It wasnt long after her anointment that Aisling had an intense vision of giving birth in an agonizing situation. Horrified, she ignored the vision, deliberately keeping it from Iseult, the Queen at the time. Despite pack law, Priestess Aisling grew close to Chancellor Njörðr, a wolf older than her by more than fourteen years. She was attracted to his intelligence. She would spend hours telling him her visions and hearing his voice. They consoled her. Blind physically, Njörðr saw the world more deeply in a sense than anyone she knew. They had a passionate but brief affair. When she became pregnant she knew if any pups looked like the Chancellor there would be scandal. Her labor was more dreadful than she could have imagined. Two died in the process. Her long labor suffocated them in the womb. The last she named Éamonn. He was so beautiful, but is parentage was obvious. She confessed her shame to Queen Iseult, who kindly spared her, but things were never the same between them. Until now there had been no secrets between them. However, even as Iseult stepped down, Aisling remained in her position. She had been forgiven by her truthfulness. Years would pass on. Her son became the next Chancellor after her beloved Njörðr died. Through him, she had a granddaughter, Lady Freyja, and a great grandson Lord Orvar. It was evident that her line would go on for decades to come. Finally, she saw the she wolf who would take her place. Her name was Yasmin, out of the line of Sir Bricius. It was a surprise that she would be descended from such an ambitious cruel wolf, however, her visions told her that her time was at an end, and that Yasmin was destined to look after the pack in future years. She made it known the King and Queen about Yasmin's place in the pack, and then in the silence of the night, returned to the only wolf she ever loved, Njörðr. He welcomed her, young, and no longer blind. The First Priestess Of Living Predecessor: None Succeeded by: Dame Yasmin Was Bound with Chancellor Njörðr Mother of Lord Éamonn Previously Nothing

| Personality Priestess Aisling is a quiet she-wolf, often only comfortable communing with those she dearly loves and those in need of religious help. She takes pride in the work she has done for her pack, and especially the young wolf Éamonn has become. However, Aisling has a sad soul, as she mourns the life around her. She is melancholy often, grieving for the death of dearest Njörðr, the hard life her beloved pup will endure as Chancellor, and for the guilt she feels over her broken vows. At times, Aisling is too distraught to perform her duties well, leaving many to question her position as Priestess. Yet, her visions are too insightful to dismiss, and no shewolf has felt the call to replace her. Unlike Aisling who was born with her abilities, the next priestess will only gain them once she is divinely chosen.
