Hi, I'm Silence. As you can probably tell, I'm named after my pitch black fur and how quiet I talk. I came to this pack when I was about 8 years old, after being abandoned by me other pack. Red and Rage took me in, and cared for me, I felt welcome, and I eventually joined. It's been 7 years since I've joined, but it's been the happiest 7 years of my life. I've never felt alone on this pack, and I've never been treated as different, even though I knew I was. Up until recently I thought I was the only one in the world with this kind of fur, but then I met Shruikan and Fyrn was born. I'm kind of relieved that I'm not the only one with this birth defect.
I'm 15 years old now, and that's when wolves start to die. I'm not afraid to die though. I've had an amazing, prosperous life thanks to Strike. I've had several litters of pups, some even are just like me, and some have fur that I've never seen, except on Little Moon. Now she won't feel like she's the only one of that special gifts. I don't like to refer to our gifts as birth defects, but as gifts from the Heavens for special wolves that will make a difference in the lives of their packmates.
I hope that I have made a difference in the lives of the members of Strike. If I have, then I will be able to rest peacefully.
