He was her mate, but now everything has changed. He all but shoved her to another male, then told her he no longer wanted her. Now he's aiming to breed other females. So what does Aspen do?

Nothing. She does absolutely friggin nothing. Because that's the kind of wolf she is. Just let him have his fun. But if he comes crawling back? Oh no. Death won't be met by the sweet, welcoming Aspen from before. No. Now that she has her memory, and he his? Not anymore. Mates were well, mates FOR LIFE. But apparently, one death and resurrection is a file for seperation.
