Biography "Look at our lovely three pups!" A female voice sounded in a young pup's ears. "They are amazing, but what about this one...", A deeper, male voice said curiously. "His paw, its crooked! It will do him no good in hunting or living! My mate, please, leave him to die in the swamp nearby, the alligators will surely eat him!", The female voice said. The next thing the young, pale gray with darker gray stripes, wolf knew was that he was dangling in the jaws of the male. He glanced at the ground, and he felt like he was flying at the speed they were going.
Suddenly, the pup was dropped onto muddy ground. He looked up at the huge male wolf, a whimper escaping his mouth. The male only glared at the pup, then dashed away. 'Is my paw crooked?' The small pup thought, glancing at his perfectly normal paw. Suddenly, he heard paw steps trekking through the thick mud and water. Spinning around, the gray pup saw another female and male wolf, but with a much kinder, sympathetic expressions.
"Hello young one. What's your name?", The golden female asked, her voice sweet like honey.
"I-I don't know, they never named me", The pup replied. his voice shaking.
"Well, come with us, and we'll take care of you, pup." The male replied, not sounding as kind as the female, but hints of sympathy edges his green eyes. He then glanced towards the sky above, a beautiful, silver moon hanging in the center of all the stars.
Glancing at his mate, he barked "I will name you Silver Moon, after the moon above that guides our paws and hearts."
Two years later...
"Come on Blaze! Hurry it up, Fang! The frogs won't wait for you to pounce on them!" Silver Moon barked amusedly. When he was a pup, Silver Moon figured out that the beautiful, golden female wolf was named Blaze, and the jet black male wolf was named Fang. Silver Moon had always admired Fang's incredible speed and Blaze's quick thinking. But now, Silver Moon was more powerful and quicker than both put together.
"Were not as young as we first found you, Silver Moon!", Fang rasped back, trotting behind slowly with his mate right behind him. After a while of padding through the thick marshes of the swamp they lived in, they had found their prey: frogs.
From Silver Moon's point of view, there looked about seven of them. All three wolves dropped into hunting crouches, stalking up silently behind the frogs. With Silver Moon setting the pace to almost a trot, Blaze soon fell behind. Suddenly, a scream ripped through the air.
Glancing over his shoulder, the massively- built wolf saw about four alligators right behind them, one snapping at Blaze. With a yowl, Fang launched himself forward as the alligator went for his mate. Instead of bitting Blaze, the alligator caught Fang. The wolf who Silver Moon called his father, was dead.
Silver Moon stared, frozen in place. Another screech ripped through the acrid air, snapping Silver Moon out of his trance. Glancing around, he saw Blaze being dragged by two alligators into their den, which was a dark abyss.
He reached out his paw for Blaze, but it was too late. Blaze was dragged helplessly into the hole. The other two alligators followed their friends into the den. Silver Moon flinched as he heard the terrifying screeches of Blaze as the alligators tore her apart.
Silver Moon then dashed away, his paws thudding on the ground as he dashed around lakes and streams, not even the mud of the swamp slowly him down. He then broke out into an open meadow. Silver Moon let out a strong, brave howl, but no one could hear the sadness that filled it.
Later...
The large yellow moon floated high in the sky as Silver Moon padded through the lush meadow. As he trotted along at a steady pace, suddenly the ground sloped into a hollow, and he almost stepped on a stunning female wolf which lay asleep inside of the hollow.
'She's more beautiful then the sun and moon combined' Silver Moon thought as he gaze.
