Biography
Shadow was a former pack member of a lightbringers pack, exiled because of his red back marking. They said he would be a weak wolf, easily spotted and would die. One morning, he awoke for the sound of snarling and snapping. He froze, not understanding what was happening, they snapped at his hackles and he ran in terror. Shadow ran as fast as his legs would go, running blindly through bracken and undergrowth to get away from his angry den mates. A sudden scent filled his nostrils, he let out a snarl as he bowled into the smaller figure, bewildered he shouted at the wolf desperately trying to get it to run. He knew his pack, he knew they were set to kill. In one swift movement, the wolf bolted, Shadow froze for a split second, the speed of the wolf startled him, he ran after her. He couldn't keep up, he was getting exhausted and the pack were catching up to him, he let out a low snarl as the snapping jaws latched his tail and turned to see the small wolf running towards the group before he was thrown into the packs circle. A large weight stood above him, drool from the larger black wolf dripped onto Shadows face, he shook his head as he tried to move. No wolf would budge under this weight. A loud yowl filled the air and the weight was suddenly gone, that same scent filled his nose again, almost soothing him. He heard the screech of the small wolf, he needed to run and fast. The small wolf followed, staying at his pace until they were a safe distance away from the pack.
Stopping to catch their breath, he saw the wolf properly for the first time. Her name was Akira, she was stunning, he felt this feeling deep in his heart that would soon turn out to be love. Shadow answered her questions, explaining that his old pack chased him out to kill him. She sat silently as she listened to his story, glancing at his back every now and then, as he explained why he didn't have a pack no longer. He started to walk away, thanking her for saving him, as he heard her call back. He looked back to see her sitting alone with a saddened look on her face, she didn't smell of a pack, he couldn't leave this wolf alone. As Shadow walked up to the wolf, the words fell out of his mouth. "Why don't we make a new one?" He stuttered, shyly looking at Akira. She looked back, the sadness turning into glee as she replied "I've always wanted a pack of my own."
