Before she became Alpha, KASILI was known as the free spirit, the kind, graceful, lovely "maiden." Sweet and delicate, she could often be found dancing in the meadows or singing to the birds. Her fur gave off a floral fragrance; her diet consisted of mainly fruit and flowers. The ironic thing was, she was one of the pack's best fighters too. Still, wolves shrugged off this contradiction, smiling at the antics of this naive, fairy-like being.
So when the alphas Roma and Forgetfulness announced their decision to elevate Kasili to the rank of Heir, many were quite shocked. For one thing, she had no royal blood whatsoever. A foreigner who'd been brought to the pack as a juvenile, how could she become their sacred leader? And her...personality! It was entirely unsuitable for an Alpha, they thought. Plus, there were several better choices: Geisha, Artemisia I of Caria, Zenobia of Palmyra...How could the alphas have been so utterly stupid?
That's when her true powers were revealed. On a misty winter morning, Kasili quietly told her pack that she had a gift, a gift from the Heavens. An ability to stir Nature into doing her bidding. Eating plants had allowed her to connect with the earth's energy. Dancing tickled the grass into revealing quicksand or hidden snakes. Singing to the birds? That was her communicating with her spies, asking them about the enemy packs they'd been watching. Her fragrance had been the only obvious sign of her powers, which had to be kept hidden from the greedy and the superstitious. Her ignorance and childish whims had been a facade to protect her. Only the alphas had known the truth.
It took a while, but eventually the clan accepted her as an equal. Kasili retained her shy and kindhearted demeanor, although she now held an aura of dignity and awareness as well. When Roma died and Genghis, the only male, was forced to become the Alpha in his place, [continue to Preferences]

the red warrior promised her he'd make her his mate and co-ruler once Forgetfulness, his official mate now, died or retired. This was not because he felt obligated to respect the 2nd Alphas' wishes and abandon his own love interest, but because Kasili was his love interest. And finally, when the shepherd female was 10 years old, Forgetfulness succumbed to illness and left the pack to Genghis and Kasili with her blessings, allowing them to be together without the shackles of tradition holding them apart anymore.
Special Skills
Since the 2nd Alphas hadn't been able to produce a suitable heir yet, they'd nominated Kasili as their adopted daughter and Delta Female. She was young, loyal, and capable. With the added benefit of having Genghis as her mate (they'd fallen in love before he'd even ascended to alphahood, which did not put a strain on their relationship), Kasili's position is strong and secure. No one dares challenge her.
